4/29/22 10:00 pm A ROACHED CRAWLED UP MY LEG!

I am not one to write a bad review at all. I usually have a lot of empathy for situations but this one I could not let go. I went to dine at the tables with my girlfriend and her friend. We ordered a couple of sushi rolls and yakisoba. After about 20 minutes of sitting and eating I noticed a roach (about 2 inches in length) run from underneath one table to another. Though I did not say anything to the waiters, I did tell the girls who immediately were grossed out. Not 1 minute later, I had A DIFFERENT ROACH crawl up my leg that I swiped at and immediately stood up and exited the table. One of the workers noticed us standing who notified other staff to come. A younger slender male came and started joking saying, ā€œI thought you were a manā€, implying I let a roach scare me, to which I responded ā€œ would you like a roach crawling up your leg while you eat?ā€

I was later told by our waiter that the exterminator just sprayed recently and that that’s the reason the roaches were out. No one apologized to us personally about roaches crawling around us during our dinner. After I had asked the waiter if I could at least get compensated for this terrible experience, she gave us only 10% off- only after I had asked. We left our food at the table and immediate left after paying. As we were leaving the younger worker, who joked earlier about the roach, commented ā€œcome back tomorrow to see your roach friendā€!

I cannot make this up. I am a healthcare professional and this is an absolute sickening experience! Please take your business elsewhere as the staff were VERY unprofessional and handled this situation to the lowest degree….. as if it was a JOKE!

That being said I WILL NEVER EAT AT KABUKI IN MONTGOMERY, AL...

Station 7, order#58233. At table with all people of color. We felt uncomfortable due to the cooks unfriendly attitude. When the server Linda refilled my water, she took it out of site but when she refilled the caucasians water she had a water pitcher, part of my veggie tempura was too mushy as if it was too old so I left it on the plate

When same cooks came out to cook for next table with causcian people mixed with people of color, he was more lively, actively and did the traditional thing where you catch the food with mouth. A small amount of veggies as a side dish was too small, my sister requested for more vegatables. Then the cook spoke loudly and assertive in their language to Linda then she had more veggies to come out. The veggies were over cooked. The cook did not make eye contact with us. I was going to treat a special lady here for lunch tomorrow but we felt uncomfortable. I maybe paranoid but I have heart burn. I don't eat meet and I am normally cautioned when I eat out. I have NO medical stomach issues!! I was charged for 2 soups instead of one. One miso soup was supposed to come with meal and the other one was a side soup. The food was good, customer service could have been better.. Update 5:33 am next morning. Question Has anyone experienced getters and very alertness after eating here? I could not sleep sound, I was gettery and alert. I only consumed 2 soups, water with lemon, tempur veggies and a few hot veggies from daughter plate. I'm a little concerned...

Fed up with the subpar service and sarcasm that meets the consumption of the black dollar. Came in for lunch at 2:30 and they said they are closed and i reminded them that they don’t close until 3. They sat us at the table THEN sat a white male behind us moments later. While sitting they kept telling us the kitchen is closing but not once ( not once!) told the white man behind us. So I politely told their spokesperson I’ve been here a lot ( literally ate at wasabi yesterday and the day prior ) and I fully understand . It was my friend’s deceased mother’s birthday and we were attempting to have a nice lunch. Will not be eating At kabuki, wasabi , nor Tokyo Japanese grill in prattville anymore since they are all affiliated and servers are used interchangeably. I’ve been coming to these restaurants for about 5 years and was thoroughly disgusted.... lastly lay off the salt in the food ... and work on the sushi rolls.... also the guy who made our dining experience intolerable told me his name was Jackie ...Chan. No ones food is good enough for that kind of service... east chase is literally 2 mins away with plenty of other...

Don’t go on a Saturday. Love Kabuki, they take reservations and have a fun and friendly staff. During the week they are moderately busy in the evenings and can be busy during lunch. However, on the weekends they are super busy! So busy that even if you have a reservation and are on time, you still may have to wait up to an hour. It was packed the last time we were there. I was very surprised because I used to love eating in house because of its intimate dining experience. They have both hibachi and table seating, hibachi being the most popular. They also have a private room, but I would suggest booking that months in advance. Overall it’s still a wonderful place to eat with good food. But if you wanted a less dense dining experience I’d come during the week.

Had lunch on our anniversary trip to New Orleans. Even though TripAdvisor showed it as closed, it was open with the restriction of having to wear a mask to enter. We ordered the Chicken, Shrimp, and Angus Steak for Couples. Our Hibachi chef was hilarious. Very good performer. The food was served in a bizarre order. We had the Steak on our plate first, the rice was next, then the shrimp, then the vegetables, and the chicken was last. Not sure how I felt about that, but the food was very good. The chicken was a little tough but still tasted good. Overall, I enjoyed the entire experience. I would highly recommend this location!

This was such a great restaurant! We did not do the hibachi grill but rather just sat and got sushi and ordered from the grill. The service was exceptional. The staff was so friendly and was so on top of everything. As you can see in the photos I have attached, the sushi displays were beautiful and delicious. The first photo I attached was actually a children's meal and it was very large!! I highly recommend going to this place because every penny was worth it because the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly (especially with children), the food was delicious, and the food was served quickly without the sacrifice of quality.
