Feast Buffet — Restaurant in Montgomery

Unfortunately, this business doesn't get much attendance. I have never gotten anything from the buffet that wasn't hot in temperature. As a matter of fact, there are times when the fried catfish and chicken are too hot to eat immediately. I think all of the food is very well prepared. I have dined here about 8 times. The young women working the tables are very friendly, polite and courteous. 11 August 2023 I ate lunch at Hibachi Grill Buffet Wednesday the 30th of August. It was around 2:00 and they were busy for that time of day. Walking around the food displays, I thought to myself, why is this place so busy when Feast Buffet is much better!? I ate there because it has been a very long time since I last ate there. Well I will tell you this, from now on when I get the desire for an Asian Buffet I will definitely dine at Feast Buffet. Feast Buffet serves their food in smaller pans so they are replacing entrees often and many times when I took fried chicken or catfish they were so freshly cooked I had to allow them to cool down before I enjoyed them. I highly recommend Feast Buffet. 01 September Friday the 13 of October 2023 I enjoyed lunch there again today. I used to eat at Hibachi Grill Buffet exclusively, but now I eat at Feast Buffet exclusively. The food is simply better. As I have mentioned before, I have yet to get food from the buffet that wasn't hot in temperature. I had to cut up the catfish to allow it to cool before I ate it. The buffet isn't extensive, but everything is very good. Friday 29 March 2024 I enjoyed lunch there today. I am personally amazed that all of the food I get from the buffet is hot in temperature. It is the only buffet I have dined at all of my adult life where the food is kept very warm. It is a limited buffet, but everything available is very good. I highly recommend this buffet restaurant. I went for lunch. It was a medium-sized buffet. Nothing great, nothing horrible. There was an OK selection. None of the food I had was mind-blowing but nothing disgusting either. It was a very "safe" selection. There was no sushi bar and no hibachi grill. There was an ice cream freezer but it only had those little tubs of strawberry ice cream. I like strawberry so that was OK. Overall, just OK. I prefer places that blow my mind and I gotta gotta gotta have some more. If I had to pick, I'd say the scampi-style shrimp and the chilled shrimp were the best things on the menu. Of the two I liked the chilled shrimp better because of the spices. Let me start by saying that the food tasted as it should, except the pepper chicken. The problem is we paid for 2 adults and a teen $55 dollars. Same we pay at hibachi grill, we paid that thinking Chinese buffet prices, it's not a" Chinese buffet" they have a few Chinese buffet items but over all it was the same type of menu as the fried tomato country cooking down the street.
