Nancy's Italian Ice — Restaurant in Montgomery

Never have I been so disappointed by terrible service from Nancys! I have always loved and supported this place until now. I dropped a 14-year-old and a 12-year-old off at the front door to go in and get ice cream well I got gas next-door. My girls called me the moment I pulled into the gas station to tell me that the teenagers refused to serve them because they "were only open through the drive-through." Mind you… There were 10-15 teenagers sitting down at tables inside Nancy's eating ice cream, the hours on the door said they were open until 10p (it was 8:45p) and needless to say, the door was open and all appeared opened for business. So before I could even get gas, I turned around to pick them up and take them through the drive-through. Know that it was very difficult for me not to walk in that store and scold this group of kids. I did the right thing and went through the drive-through. I pull into the drive through a few minutes before 9 and a very rude teenage girl comes to the window to tell me they are closed. I referred to the hours on the door: close at 10. She proceeded to tell me that those were the "summer hours" and that they close at 9p in the winter. It was exactly 9 o'clock when she opened the window to tell me they were closed. This was just some snobby teenagers playing around! This is terrible business operation and you do not need to have teenagers running your store... especially irresponsible ones that bring their friends in there to play! I am very disappointed and it will be a very long time before I ever support...

I went to Nancy’s for a nice treat and was greeted by the girl at the drive thru window. She took my order and repeated it to me wrong multiple times to where I said it again multiple times and she still didn’t understand but I had faith. But of course the order was wrong. I told her it was wrong before I even grabbed the ice cream and she said she can’t take it back even though she messed up the order. I work in food so I get not being able to take food back into the kitchen but she could’ve fixed the ice cream instead of saying she can’t take it back. “I wanted to give you a 0 but that’s not possible so I gave you a 1” It’s okay that’s what I get for not going to...

I usually stop by once a week for some Italian ice. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The flavors of the Italian ice are so good!! They also have soft serve ice cream. They will do a mix of Italian ice and soft serve ice cream. I've never had the ice cream, but I've seen people getting it all the time, so it must be good too. The only down thing is they do not offer much variety of flavors at all!! Thankfully one of my favorites (cotton candy) is always a regular flavor, but really wish they'd make the Miami sunset more or some of the other flavors so it's not the same 4 or 5 flavors all the time (as long as cotton candy is a...
