Hello Everyone! I am listing here a health concern. Every order in the possession of an Uber Eats driver MUST be sealed with a sticker. My pizza was delivered to me with no protection seal and it was undercooked. I did follow up with Uber eats and I will get my money back. In healthcare we see food poisoning all the time, for one reason or another. This is a safety hazard.
I spoke to a manager on duty at this location and it was not great. Had the manager acknowledged my concern, been apologetic, and expedient with providing information, I would be more at ease. Instead, I was told that Popa John’s does not always have stickers (which is a HUGE SAFETY VIOLATION according to the Uber Eats safety policy) to seal deliveries and that it is up to the GM. She spoke to me as if this is an acceptable norm and I was making a big deal over essentially nothing. As a manager, the priority should always be safety of the customer first. The store should make it their business to maintain the integrity of their partnership with Uber Eats. Other businesses do not utilize Uber Eats at all. Pizza restaurants are forever and a day short on delivery drivers, so I’m not sure where the disconnect is. Needless to say they will no longer have my business.
PLEASE be mindful of how your orders are prepared and sealed. Playing on your ignorance of can have detrimental consequences that are not always reversible with medicine. Ever heard of stories of people sitting there drink down and they came back to drink it, never the same again? Same implications of common sense is advised here. Peace...
Read moreI will start by saying I have ordered from this Carter Hill Rd location for years and today will absolutely be my last time I will NEVER order again!! Placed my order and tracked it through the link sent in the confirmation email and it showed as "delivered" so I go out and check to see if maybe it was left at the door and checked my doorbell camera to see if maybe I missed them. There was no sign of an attempted delivery or the pizza. So, I called the store and while on hold the driver arrives gets out of the car and went to his back seat and got the pizza that wasn't in any kind of carry out bag of any sorts off the seat. I spoke with James who says he's the manager. I explained the situation, he says the order was delivered by door dash as they don't have drivers. I then asked if those drivers are required to have a carry out bag, he stated the driver said he did. So just so we are clear you allowed a driver who is not employed by you to handle deliveries and didn't check to make sure they met the requirements to do so?? I threw the pizza in the trash and asked for a refund. The pizza was all over the inside of the box and for some reason very soggy!?!?!? I don't use door dash for anything, and I would appreciate if the company I am ordering from lets me know before...
Read more1st and foremost the phones lines are horrible at least that's what the (Manager Sarah) thought, because I called to place an order today at 8:03pm as I began to place my order the phone hangs up in my face, I think it was done intentionally because the BOY who answered the phone rushed me and was very rude and fast talking untill I guess he got aggravated and hung up in face. I did not appreciate that at all because I spend my money there a lot. But no customer deserves that and on top of that the manager (Ms.sarah ) tries to justify the fact of WHOEVER the boy was answering the phone his wrong doing, she did apologize but it wasn't sincere. They were slacking VERY HARD tonight and to think papa's john was my favorite spot ! I waited over 30mins and on top of that, the girl was making my pizza wrong and I had to stop her. I think she had a problem with me correcting her also. Sign##...
