My first mistake was sending my mobile order here (due to my daughter wanting something days before, and it being the closest location to her, and I not setting my usual location back) instead of to my more frequented Starbucks on the Blvd, where I'm always greeted and acknowledged with a warm smile no matter it being my coming through the drive thru (mostly) or inside the location. I go inside the store due to two vehicles waiting in the drive thru line about five minutes and when I go in, it's one lady waiting to get her order, well the barista gives her an item that broke to pieces once he put it in the bag and then asked if she'd like another. I'm only saying all this so whomever reads this gets an idea of the time spent and courtesy/customer service not given. So I'm still standing and waiting and the two others working still hadn't greeted or acknowledged. This was my first time here, so their set up was kind of different. As I'm still waiting, I look up and see the sign for pick up/mobile orders and then walk over to that sign, where there's another employee making an order and he's right in front of me and still says nothing. As I'm standing, I see cup in there mobile order holding area that looks like it was complete but the mixtures of caramel and milk from the drink had been over filled and was leaking down the sides of the cup, making it hard to pick up and not get a hand full of sticky. I'm still standing and he still hadn't said one word to me and then a guy walks in and he gives a great smiling big greeting of what I would have liked as well, then looks back down and continued to making the order he was working on. So I took it upon myself to look at the messy sticky cup sitting to see if it was indeed my order and then I stated to the guy that this looks like it belongs me and he proceeds then to look a me and say, "I'm not going tell anyone if you don't," and the implied was meant like, it's been sitting up there and you didn't see it. No I seen it but didn't think it was complete with everything going down the sides. I walked over and picked some napkins to pick the cup and left. This was on Mon 11/27 at about 2:30pm. I gave a 2 star because of the customer service given and the unimportant feeling I got, the drink was perfect once cleaned. It was others in the store but only one being waited on and 3 cars in the drive thru, so them being busy wasn't the reason for this treatment. My daughter or I won't be using this location again. Thanks Zelda Rd...
Read moreOn July 4, 2023, around 7:30 p.m. my roommate and I went to Starbucks on Zelda Road in Montgomery, Alabama. We drove through the drive through and place our order totaling $11 and some change. My roommate pulled up too the window and the cashier open the window and greeted us very politely. She gave my roommate his total and took his debit card. She ran his card and it didn't go through. She asked if his card was locked. My roommate replied no. She offered to run it again and my roommate declined and told her he would come back and pay for the items after we went to the ATM machine. The cashier responded its okay sir I'll take care of it. My roommate said I'll pay for it when we come back. The cashier again replied she would take care of it. I leaned over and said wow thank you. My roommate said thank you and we drove off. I've been in retail for quite sometime and great customer service goes a long way. This act of kindness is a true example of treating your customers first. I didnt go to Starbucks alot but this young lady has made me a Starbucks fan. I didn't catch her name so I'm sending in a Kudos on her customer service skills. She went above and beyond to satisfy...
Read moreThis is my favorite coffee place in Montgomery. All the baristas know my name and my order, and they've always been very friendly and accommodating. They keep it very clean and well staffed, so even when they're busy you don't have to wait too long. There are four leather chairs that are super comfy for long study/reading/knitting sessions; I'm just surprised my favorite one doesn't have my permanent butt print in it yet! I could practically live here, so you may as well give it a visit!
Edit: I just want to add, I recently overhead two off-shift baristas gossiping about their boss. They were saying how much they appreciate how she treats them and respect her for all the hard work she does to make this store the best it can be. Seriously, at how many chain restaurants do you think the employees chat about how much they like their boss? I know for a fact no one says that sort of thing about the owners of Cafe Louisa - quite the opposite, actually. (I don't do it on purpose, maybe it's because I'm quiet, but I somehow manage to overhear a lot of conversations like this) Sometimes local...
