Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Monticello

Obnoxious is just one word to describe the bartender that served us yesterday. My daughter her partner, my wife and I were searching for bars that were playing world cup, thus the one star rating I have given. Everything else from the moment we sat down wasn't so great. My wife ask a very simple question, which was how much for a Guinness. The bartender (I think his name was Dave) very loudly embarrassed her and went on and on about what a ridiculous question to ask. "This is a bar" he kept saying, as if this was enough reason to not ask that particular question, (a bit of a bizarre reply) It was a very casual inquiry, and because most drinking establishments tend to charge a ridiculous amount for Guinness. My first thought was that he's just teasing, so I let it ride out to see we're this going, plus I deplore confrontations. He never came back to ask her what she wanted nor was there a menu offered. So the long of the short, this guy created a very awkward and miserable time for us. Also might I add, my wife and I have a combined 60 in customer service working as flight attendants for American airlines, my daughter is a beer tender at Omni, her friend is the restaurant manger at the four seasons in Minneapolis. We wanted to try a new place and saw this burger joint on google. Pretty decent reviews and a sat special for burger, 3 wings and fries for $12. Boom, we were sold. Place had parking both on the street and around back. There was a patio along the side of the restaurant with a cover to keep sun off of the patrons. The restaurant was clean and had easily 6-8 tvs, plenty of high top tables as well as standard 4 seaters. They had pull tabs which we tried our luck at, lost after several $2 winners. The servers were very friendly and regularly checked on drinks. Burgers came with tomato, lettuce and onions. Burgers were decent size, wings similar in size to other wing joints and fries were generous in portion size. Overall very good experience. 3 out 5 stars because the music was so loud I was unable to hear my spouse sitting across the table. Probably wont go back. We wanted a pleasant sining experience to enjoy each others company. I dont need my ears to ring to hotel california and similar 40 yr old songs blaring...

Have been here a couple times now. The first time the service was great and the food was decent. The second time the service was absolutely awful and I said something to the manager and as far as I could tell nothing was done. It took an hour and a half to get our food. Everyone else around us had come after us and had eaten and was ready to leave by the time we got our food. My wife's food showed up ice cold and when we said something to the waitress she just rolled her eyes at us and never came back. I and to. Go find a random waiter to pay our bill. I honestly don't think I'll be back. It's was just a terrible experience. The only reason they got 2 stars is cause of the waiter we had the first time we went. He was great. I don't know his name. But honestly there are tons of restaurants In the area. And there's a reason there was no wait for a table of 6 on...
