MIMO'S 2 — Restaurant in Montrose

We loved everything at the original Mimo's. Mimo's 2, absolutely horrible. My husband and I got Smothered Green Chili Burrito's. The green chili was orange and greasy. His was a Carna Asada and mine was Ground Beef. Both of the meats tasted Rancid and spoiled. There was also very little meat in both. They barely give you a teaspoon of sour cream. We both asked for extra sour cream and got 1 small bowl with approx 2 teaspoons of sour cream in it. We also asked for our child to get the chicken alfredo dish with no chicken and a side of broccoli and they wouldn't do it. Chicken is more expensive than Broccoli and we would have paid for the full price of the dish. Note that they don't have smaller portions for kids. We addressed our issues with our waitress and she flat out said the people behind us got the same thing and it was fine. We talked to that couple in the parking lot and they said it was not good either. She didn't even have the owner or manager come talk to us. Then the waitress didn't even bother to bring our check and sent someone else. Very sad. I just tried calling and they said you are not around to speak with. We ate there today @ 4:30 and...

First time at Mimo's. I ordered the Waffle Breakfast, eggs scrambled - dry, bacon and asked for the hash browns to be crispy and well done. A friend ordered his bacon well done.

When I received my order, I got the omg crispy bacon (his was normal) and my hash browns were no different than anyone else's. Slightly browned on the top an totally unbrowned anywhere else. When I informed the waitress, she offered to take it back and cook them more. That of course means I get my food back later, after my friends have finished eating and my eggs and bacon are likely cold.

She could have just sent in another order for the hash browns "crispy and well done", but said that was against the rules.

Later I asked to speak to the manger, turns out our waitress was the manager. I asked her to comp my meal, she has no authority... All I got was a bad breakfast which I had to pay for and many "I'm sorry"s...

The waitress should NOT have even brought out my meal which was clearly NOT what I ordered.

Every time I order, I tell my server I am allergic to tomatoes . I know she writes it down correctly, so this is no reflection on her. The kitchen screws up my order EVERY TIME. Without a doubt, my food comes out with tomatoes on/or, in some part of my food. I have stopped ordering food. 😩 I can't take the risk. Also, I have tried ordering egg dishes, thinking, this should be safe, NOPE. First bite. I CRUNCH down on egg shell. Who eats egg shells? Every single time I have ordered an egg base vegetarian egg dish I've gotten eggshells in my food. That leaves me with no protein choice except plain pinto beans. Who wants to pay $5.00 for pinto beans? I did once. Never again. Please add decaf. Green tea. That way I'll be able to at least order a drink. By the way. I am a diabetic, please educate your staff on how VERY difficult it is for us to eat out if no choices are offered. Thanks...
