I ordered a salad over the phone and customer service was kind enough. Picking up the meal was a 5/5, with the exception that they were out of plastic forks for takeout. That’s when things took a turn and my reasoning for a 1 star rating. I understand this is mostly a pizza place, but when you sell salads and pasta as well, you really should have forks for takeout. Now, if I lived in the area, this would have been a nonissue. Also, I was splitting the meal with my husband and our kids were in the car but they had already eaten, or else I may have just come inside to eat it. One waitress was very nice and offered a metal fork for me to eat with, in which I had promised to bring back in. But after she checked with the owner, the owner said I could not have or borrow a fork, apparently. (Which for some reason, I feel this fact will probably be denied.). I was beyond baffled that I couldn’t borrow a fork and that they were even out of plastic forks, given that both Dollar Tree and Walmart were in the vicinity to replenish takeout cutlery. But apparently since they ā€œdidn’t come inā€ (I assume on their delivery truck), alas they were out of forks for takeout customers. Since I needed a fork, I went to Walmart. Not only did I find a free fork in the deli, I was also able to buy a package of 48 forks for Pahgre’s, so as other takeout customers didn’t have the same issues I had to deal with. I have to assume the owner must be having a hard time, since they couldn’t afford $1.78 to buy a package of forks from Walmart. And there is no way that sanitation could be claimed as an issue, since the package of forks I delivered back to the restaurant, was sealed. To the owner, I say this: your staff is amazing, your food is delicious, but your head is in the clouds and your customer service SUCKS (on your part- not your employees). I pray for your ability to handle these easily mitigated issues in the future, but for me, I won’t be back.

I decided to go to Pahgre's as a lunch stop as I was wanting some pasta. I ended up having a pretty good meal. I will however say things below. The Poughkeepsie Gulch Pesto Bruschetta, was good. But it was honestly a dish trying to be too fancy. The taste was a little much as I ate it. There was a large amount of pesto on it. When I did get it delivered to my table it was starting to cool and the cheese on it stuck together. Issue being. Every single piece is under one another and stacked. So you rip all the cheese off. I feel this dish could honestly go down in the fancyness and price. It was $11 for 5 pieces of bread. The Plateau Primavera, I actually liked. But the vegetables were hard to chew and not soft. They were hot though. There was a pool of, butter or oil I was unsure, at the bottom of the bowl that the noodles where soaked in. It was sprinkled with Italian seasoning from what I could tell. It was a vegetarian meal but I added some grilled chicken. The chicken was okay over all. There really wasn't much flavor in the dish so I added some salt. The veggies in the dish where 2 different types of squash yellow, and green and Carrots. It was okay. Really not my favorite. Especially for $20 I paid for it. (With the chicken)

First and last time here for sure. Drove by many times but finally visited last night. The four of us all ordered a different pasta and a large pepperoni pizza. I got the special of the night a Cajun tortellini as well as ordered artichoke dip for the table. The dip arrived promptly but was cold and chips broke off in it very easily. Pasta was delivered timely but on our first bites we all shared that the chicken atop the pasta was barely room temperature and very dry. My pasta was also barely room temp. When the server made her rounds I passed this along about my pasta but the rest of the table was content in poking at theirs. She said that she brought it as soon as it arrived out of the kitchen but could take it back to the kitchen to warm it up in the oven and I said I would appreciate it. The pizza arrived and was fine but then the pasta came back almost exactly as before. I have worked many years in the food industry and my wife is a chef. This is the third time in my life I have ever said anything about my food and just wanted it to be fixed. I again told her about the temperature of my food and asked her if she microwaved it due to the obvious condensation on the bowl. She replied ā€œof course, how else are we supposed to warm it upā€. I felt like Gordon Ramsey in an episode of kitchen nightmares. I asked her to simply take it off of the bill because I would not be eating it. In total I had a small edge of chicken and two pasta shells. She took the plate and it was some time before we saw her again. I could see in the reflection of the large window she was back at the server station discussing what horrible customers we were with the other staff. The pointing and scolding looks were beyond obvious. The three others at my table ate about 10-15% of the pasta and the bowls were mostly full. Two slices of pizza were eaten and and when she finally made rounds to our table after ignoring us for two rounds when we were evidently done. My wife asked me to go to the car so she could handle the rest of it because I wanted to address this further but here’s the...

I am revising a review I wrote a week ago after visiting this restaurant with my family. We were fairly disappointed. This place had so much potential. The menu names are fun, the food is decent (though not amazing), the atmosphere works. A member of our party has some new food allergies and when we asked if a specific ingredient was used in a couple of menu items we were told that they had no idea and couldn't be sure, so just don't order anything that might contain that (which was 90% of their menu). They were "too busy" in the kitchen to look up the ingredient information. We pressed them and asked to speak to the manager and the owner came out. She said "I don't claim to have an allergy free kitchen." We eat out a lot and are very accommodating. We told her we didn't expect an allergy free kitchen (there's no such thing) but just wanted to know if a specific ingredient was used in 2 menu items that we had ordered to share. She produced a label for 1 of the food items and seemed very annoyed when we pushed to find out about the other item. She finally produced a label for the 2nd menu item. We love to support local businesses and this place appears very popular with the locals. I hope the owner was simply having a bad day. I realize she had to take time out of a busy night to find allergy information for only 1 guest, which I appreciate. We just didn't have a great...
