MP Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Montvale

I ordered the kung po chicken for lunch. Im not from the area but felt like having chinese and this is one of my favorite dishes to order from a Chinese restaurant. Well, you can always tell how good a chinese place is by the quality of chicken and vegetables they use. This place has the really cheap chicken thats slimy and I dont even know if its real. I've had a similar experience at another place. They also use cheaper vegetables instead of the good veggies that come with mushrooms and those chinese baby corn. Wasn't happy with this place and wont come back. They care more about keeping cost down then the quality of food they serve. See pictures attached. Also a little pricey for lunch. The food is fine, there is nothing wrong with it. Not much flavor and not greasy. Even spicy dishes are not spicy but that's the nature of the area where the restaurant is located. However, every time I pick it up, there is something wrong with the order. As they hand me a sealed brown bag and push me out, there is really no way of checking the food until you get back home. Today lunch - the same thing. The woman who works there, showed me the check which matched my order but at home, it turned out my large soup was small (again as this has happened before). Since it is the same error every time, it makes me wonder if it's on purpose or they really don't pay...

The egg drop soup to start was delicious. I wish I had stopped there. I requested egg rolls with pork to be well done. They were neither well done (cold actually) and there wasn't one piece of pork to be found inside. Roast pork fried rice had zero flavor. Chicken with garlic sauce was noted as HOT AND SPICY. It was neither. It was more like Chicken was BLAND TASTELESS sauce. The shrimp toast was fine. It was greasy beyond greasy but at least it was cooked fresh versus the egg rolls which were tasteless and cold

I would almost prefer BAD FLAVOR...
