We come here often as a family to enjoy breakfast and coffee. Unfortunately, today’s experience was less than satisfactory. Spent $45 on pastries and two coffees. After about 5 min, my $8 nitro cold brew was handed to me. I noticed something looked off about it and before I could say anything, a manager saw the drink, came over and took it from me and said the machine was broken and advised the staff not to make any more nitros. Someone remarked that a technician had been working on the machine for hours earlier. They then refunded my drink and charged me to order another drink which took 5 more minutes to make, with the line backed up. By this time, my family had already mostly eaten and once I joined them and tasted the new drink, I realized it was mostly milk. Everyone at my table tried it and agreed. So I went back to return it and they had a spare drink on the counter and told me I had the wrong one. I tried that drink and it was the same issue. They then inquired aloud which of the 3 trainees had made the drink and one of the veteran staff said they would make it this time. Four drinks and half an hour later, I had a coffee. The least they could’ve done was offer the coffee for free, considering the huge delay and inconvenience. The team here is very nice and I understand people have to learn, but they should also take into consideration the inconvenience that causes a customer, especially on a very busy...
Read moreI rarely write negative reviews, but my recent experiences at Paris Baguette in Montvale have been so disappointing that I feel compelled to share. The male cashier there is a major issue—his unpleasant attitude and arrogance are enough to ruin anyone's day.
About two weeks ago, I placed an online order for pastries and drinks, requesting that they be warmed up. When I went to pick up my order, this cashier took it upon himself to lecture me about how to make requests. He seemed to talk down to me as if I were completely clueless, which was incredibly off-putting. To make matters worse, he forgot one of my pastries, and I had to make a second trip to get it.
Today, I returned, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, this same cashier was on the phone, arguing loudly with someone, completely ignoring the customers waiting in line. His behavior was unprofessional and made it clear that he is not suited for a customer-facing role.
The poor service and lack of basic courtesy from this individual have left a really bad impression. It’s a shame because the quality of the food could be overshadowed by such dreadful customer service. I hope Paris Baguette addresses this issue, as it is seriously affecting...
Read moreI was super excited that Paris baguette was opening my area. I was so happy that they opened just in time for my daughter’s birthday and ordered her cake ahead of time so I could pick up for her birthday. When I ordered I paid and told I am picking up on 2/12 at 5:30pm. Today, I showed up to pick up her birthday cake and they told me that they don’t have the cake. I specifically ordered with my daughter’s name and birthday message on, and the “manager” said he sold out. He told me “oh well we are human and we make mistakes.” The “manager” he didn’t put any effort to find cake for us in different locations, didn’t apologize, did NOTHING. Yes I understand people do make mistake but is it right attitude to the customer who ordered ahead of time for the kids birthday, telling oh well we sold out and not being sorry????? What made me more upset was his way of handling this than the fact we didn’t have the cake. As I said, I was really excited this new location to open but what a disappointment. I will not order cake from this location (go order from another Paris Baguette location) knowing the “manager” don’t care about customers who pre-order for...
