First off I would like to say I would like to give .25 stars but it doesn’t allow that. Food was terrible and I’m surprised it has a 4.5 star rating. It took about 40 minutes for our food to come and we were starving. As we got our food we noticed that they have extra cheese while we asked to go easy on cheese. While the cheese wasn’t even melted, all good Mexican restaurants melt the cheese. Also we got a chicken burrito, which was horrible for the price. It came to 15$, sure it was pretty big but was horrible. Chicken in burrito was over cooked and so hard to chew. And there was heaps of cheese on top. Also we asked for cactus with the burrito and they charged 3$ extra for it. They didn’t even say there was an extra charge. The food was so bland with no Mexican taste. We had to ask for lime while all Mexican places give lime regardless. Also not everything was even on the menu. No drinks on it whatsoever. So we had to get up and ask what drinks were served. Definelty do not go here, me and my family should’ve just chosen the Vietnamese, Japanese, or Indian food...

Leyendas de Mexico is a pretty solid Mexican restaurant, complete with authentic decor and food. I've been meaning to come in here for a while and finally decided to get takeout one fine Sunday evening. The restaurant is super responsive to Yelp orders and I had a order status update within seconds, which is much more than can be said for many other restaurants.

After much deliberation, I finally decided on the chicken tacos after looking through all of the photos. Everything looks so good and I think it's definitely worth it to eat-in here just get the food hot and fresh. I was a little late in picking up my tacos but they were not at all soggy. Out of the four tacos, I asked them to make two of them with flour tortillas and they happily obliged.

The tacos themselves were delicious and came with a side of three sauces. My favorite was the green sauce followed by the red (sorry, I don't know the name of these). Nothing at all about these tacos felt greasy at all. Would definitely order...
