Honey Bee Bakery — Restaurant in Moore

Went here a few times over the course of a few weeks. It was fairly decent, with a community coffee pot, fresh donuts and pastries. As far as the range of options across their menu goes, Honey Bee Bakery is not necessarily unique, but I can certainly appreciate their fresh bread and pastries. That being said, their menu options are a bit lacking, and I feel that they could definitely expand and have some luck with a wider variety and selection of breakfasts, coffee, and donuts.

Another thing I noticed was the difference of expectation versus delivery. I ordered a Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit one morning, so I was expecting… well, a biscuit! Turns out their fresh biscuits have a consistency and texture that’s more like Pilsbury crescent rolls than actual biscuits. Different from their croissant breakfast sandwiches, but not quite what I was expecting or looking forward to.

Overall, not a bad place. Maybe a bit of a loss and lower overall quality since I’m sure the pandemic affected them greatly, but what business doesn’t share that sentiment these days? Definitely nice location for the little suburbs and schools in the area, and the drive thru is fast and convenient. I can’t say that I would necessarily recommend this place, but it’s good for a quick and close morning...

I used to love this place but it seems like it's gone downhill. On multiple occasions they have taken my order/money at drive through and then come back to tell me they don't have what I ordered( maple bacon.) On two other occasions they didn't bother telling me they were out and substituted with plain maple. Shame on me for not checking after the first time; I would love to believe it's was an innocent mistake but both times they specifically told me maple bacon were 2.99 each (and charged me for them) instead of regular long John prices. Though sausage rolls are still delicious, it seems like they have gone "cheapest version possible" on all frosted/ filled donuts. Today I ordered and paid and was the. Told they didn't have what I ordered- again maple bacon. When I told them that I would pass on substitution (I went specifically for this item) they didn't want to give refund ; I was told they would give me donut next time. Sorry, there won't be a next time! In the end they did refund me but I'm done...

I had been here many years ago. There was a pastry item thats heavenly, I don't think it's there anymore. Nevertheless, There are so many delicious items to choose from. I enjoy donuts, but I'm also picky about them. I got the donut that has strawberry flavor all in it, very good taste all around. The strawberry cream cheese stick is something I've never tried before but was also very good after heating it up just for a few seconds. I was also happy to see there were breakfast sandwiches to pick from. The sausage,bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich is truly bursting with flavor and a must buy. The breading is so soft and has a sweet glaze over it, I wish I had bought two of them. There's also a coffee machine, but also drinks to pick from the fridge. Between the good food and the very friendly employees, this is well worth your time for...
