From the moment you walk in the door hospitality and mouth-watering aromas greet you at Tacologia located between 12th and 27th St. off Eastern in Moore. The menu offers five different types of tacos and several other choices, so there will undoubtedly be something for everyone. They even have a grilled vegetable option which was just as delicious as the meat versions. We sampled all the tacos, delicious sides, and sauces. Each had its own unique and delectable flavor. The sauces which they bring in plenty to the table range from mild and flavorable to spicy but not mouth on fire hot. The tortillas were just the right amount of soft yet crispy and were filled perfectly to eat without making a mess while still getting plenty full. The simple menu makes ordering easy and the food came out very quickly. Though the atmosphere is trendy, the staff treats you like family, and the food was served with a smile. The prices were reasonable, especially for the quality of food and service. They have a decent-sized seating area with large windows to let in just the right amount of natural light. Bottled drinks are available. Plenty of parking was a big plus as well. Admittedly, the location is one of the top reasons why this will be a new family taco night spot for us. No dealing with 19th street traffic was a huge plus. If you love taquerias and are looking for street-style tacos with a delightful twist you won't be...
Read moreFirst off, The service is Amazing here. I had the Asada and Barbacoa tacos and my wife had Taquitos. We also ate chips and guacamole, and I asked to try the salsa and she brought me a small bowl. All of which were really delicious. This is my wish - The salsa could have lots more heat, but I know lots don't like heat. Flavors were amazing using roasted peppers and tomatillos, tomatoes with a very nice balance of flavors. I actually brought some home with my Togo order. We both ordered Asada Tortas. Even the next day, the flavors were amazing. We found a little gem. If you haven't tried it, maybe you should. The salsa for the tacos, I liked all of them, usually I'm not a red sauce person but again the flavors of each were delicious. I ate the hot with my chips and guacamole. We loved our first outing here and will definitely go back. I've added my photos. Oh and the Jamaica was awesome, the best part was it had the perfect sweetness, most use way too much sugar but this one was spot on. Thank you ladies for making our first experience a great one. Much...
Read moreThought I would try this taco place that had nice front signage. Walked inside and noticed it was simple but nicely decorated. I was greeted by a friendly lady and she helped me decide what to order. I ordered one asado taco, chicken enchiladas, and aqua de Jamaica drink. The order came out in no time, I took one look at the plated presentation and thought WOW this is a work of art. I first tried the taco delivered with 3 sauces. My first bite was without sauce and this taco was amazing and stood on its own. I then experimented with the three sauces and each was excellent. Each sauce had different levels of spiciness that added extra flavor to each taco bite. I then tried the 3 enchiladas and could tell the chef was talking to me through his amazing work. This is real Mexican food not Tex-Mex. The flavors were again WOW! My compliments went to the chef and I found out the nice lady that greeted me was his wife. This is a super special restaurant and I very much enjoyed everything about this place...
