So here’s my story. Around 11:40, placed an order through UBER Eats. Delivery time was around 12:20, no problem there. Open up the bag to look at the food and it’s the wrong order. Call my driver, he says he double checked with the handoff employee and they assured him it was my order. UBER Eats drivers say the name on the order when they pick up, so it was not a case of my driver, “Just grabbing the wrong bag” as the manager implied. End up having to drive to the restaurant (around 12:30 now) and find out the order that was delivered to me not only wasn’t a delivery, but wasn’t even placed through UBER Eats. It was made on iHOP’s actual website for a pickup. I found that out because the person whose order it was, was also there in store, and this was the second time it had happened specifically to him. The only person who seemed like he wanted to help us was the African American gentleman that spoke to me directly and double checked my order with me when I finally got it. I am sorry, I did not catch your name, but thank you for being the only person who seemed to care. The other person whose order I got and I both wanted to speak to the manager, and when he came out he seemed willing to listen, but not do anything about it or make it right. The entire premise of UBER Eats and other food delivery services is that you do not have to leave your home, for whatever reason you might have. I had to drive all the way to the restaurant, wait another 15 minutes for my actual order, and drive back. That defeats the purpose, due to a handoff mistake on the restaurant’s end. “The order was placed through UBER, they’ll make it right,” is all the manager would say to me. I told him that if UBER doesn’t, I’ll be back. At that point he stopped listening to me and just dismissed me with,”Have a nice day sir.” So here’s the thing. I’m leaving 2 stars. One of them is because the food here is usually good. The other is because of the gentleman I mentioned before who helped me. If UBER doesn’t make it right, I will come back to the store. If the manager at that point doesn’t make it right, I’m taking the review...
Read moreBusy day today so didn't get to eat. After graduation we come to ihop to eat. We arrived at 9:56pm. We were seated and got our drinks. I went to the restroom and there were two tables on the other side of the room total of 6 ppl on that side. On our side there was us party of 9 and another table already eating and a guy passed out in the corner but he already had his food. It took the waitress over 30 min to come back and take our order. When we got our drinks we got no straws and after that 30 min was up I had to stop another waitress and ask her to get us straws and the rest of the drinks. After 30 min she finally took our order. Fast forward to 11:15pm...still no food...waitress says prob another 10 or 15 min. 11:47 we ask for a manager. At this point ppl have come and ate and gone. We are still waiting. She says he's back there cooking he will be out when he can. He comes out NOT Apologetic at all. Says there were a table of 35 that came in before us. I said um no that's not the case because I went around the whole place looking for the bathroom when we got here. He said yes it is and these ppl pointing to another table who were eating got here at the same time as you and you just need to be patient. I said funny you say that. We were waiting on our straws after 30 min. When they (the table he was referring to) came in and we were talking about his shirt because he works with my son. So I KNOW that's not the case. He proceeded to tell me we were wrong and there is still one more ticket in front of ours. So we said we are leaving. Wow! So now everything is closed. They ruined the after graduation meal with my son and family.
And we didn't remember to take family pics of graduation night because we were going to do that after we ate. So they stole that from me as well (my son now lives in another city). Everyone went home hungry, including the...
Read moreI gave all these ratings because:
I am highly allergic to mushrooms, my boyfriend got the big steak omelette with no mushrooms. ( She repeated the order back to him) never came back to check on us. His omelette has mushrooms, which was no big deal it could be fixed. Well so we thought. We waited for her to come back to check on us so we could let her know what happened. She finally came to get the ticket to cash out the bill. (Never came once to check on us) my son and myself were done with our food and she came and asked "how we would like to pay" instead of was everything okay, he explained the situation she looked him dead in his eyes and said "you never told me no mushrooms" He politely told her yes I did because my girlfriend is allergic to them so I know I say that at every restaurant and you even repeated it back to me. She started to get frustrated and upset (which I could clearly see.) Which was fine because she may have been new so I asked to speak with the manager. Claudia's (Manager name) demeanor when she came from the back was off / perturbed. Proceeded to tell her what happened and she was very frustrated. She was doing a lot of hand and arm movement and asking what she wanted us to do I said I wanted the food to go, my boyfriend said he didn't want it and to just take it off the ticket. Long story short she charged me $14 for three pancakes 😭 and said she just wanted us to get out. I asked if she had a boss she told me no and to know that she was the general manager of every IHOP in Oklahoma and she had no boss.... And it didn't matter who I would call because she would not get in trouble because she's been doing this for...
