Ordered a bed for my son on the 10th of October, from the Mattress Firm location on the Service Rd in Moore. Almost 2 weeks later still have no clue as to when the bed will come. After I was assured weâd have a shipping confirmation within 7-10 days. Checked at a competitor and they have the bed in stock. Went back to Mattress Firm to cancel my order and was told by the sales rep that wasnât possible. That I would have to wait for the bed to arrive and then return the bed and pay the restock fee. I said the bed hasnât shipped yet so there must be a way to cancel the order, was assured that was not possible. So I went to their website, was told that only a rep at a store could cancel my order due to online system is not the same system as the storeâs system. The online agent told me she would reach out to the area manager for the store that I was told I could not cancel the order at, and that he would be in contact with me within 24-48 hours. It has been 72 hours, and no word. I also call their 800 number, choose the option for customer service which has 5 options to press. Every single option is nothing more than a computer generated voice telling you to either call the store or to go online and chat. So if you choose the sales option you get a live person, who canât help because the stores use a different system than they do. But that he can see my order, and see that I should have a delivery time no later than Wednesday the 21st. Well, today is the 21st. No call from the area manager, no time table for when my bed is going to ship. I suspect that the rep at the store told me that the order could not be canceled because it would affect her commission. Not sure how it is possible that a company of this size can operate without having a better system in place to handle their customer base. I will never buy something from this company ever again. She told me that I would receive a call from the âdistrict managerâ within 24-48 hours. Then last night I was on with another chat specialist named Marissa that she had sent the âdistrict managerâ an email to contact me. It took me going back to the store and asking for the rep to call him. Was told that she would have him call me, she called him after I told her that I wanted to know the status of my order today. While speaking with the âdistrict managerâ Ej I was told by the âdistrict managerâ Ej, that if I cancel an order that HAS NOT SHIPPED i will still be required to pay the restock fee of up to 20% per your company policy. I asked for a copy of that return policy, was given a copy that only covers a company policy for mattresses that have been received by a customer. Nothing to do with orders that have yet to ship. There are several other issues that still need to be addressed, like absolutely no one in this company having access to the sales data base at a different location. Was told today by the âdistrict managerâ Ej that even he could no look up my info to track my mattress or cancel my order. It can only be done at the location I purchased my mattress at by that stores manager. How is it possible in 2020 that your companyâs system is so limited?    Read moreWe recently purchased a replacement Tempur-pedic mattress from the Mattress Firm store located on I-35 in Moore, Oklahoma. Our salesperson, Crystal, was very helpful and knowledgable about all of the products and brands sold in the store.
Iâd previously researched Tempur-pedic and several other brands before making our purchase. The sales staff was spot on with information about each manufacturer and there was no pressure to purchase one brand over any other. Crystal was patient as guided us through our selection, which took a couple of days. Based on our experience we upgraded our previous mattress, which lasted well beyond the warranty, and included the matching motion frame with accessories.
We were completely satisfied with the no pressure sale. With there 0% interest financing, it was a no brainer decision not to put the purchase on an existing credit card. Pay it off on time or early and avoid the interest charges.
