Finally! by Zena is the unique, delicious bakery & cafe that this area has been craving. Her European treats are mouth watering. From the moment you step to the front door, you’re wrapped in a loving embrace of beauty and fragrant smells. Her staff is friendly and welcoming- you can tell that they are excited by the environment as well. My favorite has been the “morning bun” with a dollop of cream and a raspberry on top. My husband and I have had her cookies, baklava, cheese cake, Belgian chocolate, croissants (the real deal), sandwiches and the best beef stew of all time. The menu is varied. Coffee is strong! There are also nice items for purchase lining a wall from adorable aprons to handcrafted coffee cups and other pretty things. The best part is that you can tell the Owner Zena is sharing her calling, her gift, her passion in this shop. It’s not her first rodeo. She has been a professional in the industry and won lots of awards. We are so fortunate to have her here in South Jersey. She’d do well anywhere she chose to open from NYC to Philadelphia- she’s that good.

I’ve come to Zena’s more than a few times now since it opened in September and each time it’s been delightful in a different way. The pastries are great and coffee is delicious! The service is excellent, and I love the decor. The only thing I’d have to say is that it’s hard to bring my friends with nut allergies here because there aren’t a lot of options for them. The baklava is made with walnut flour which causes a problem, and even the pistachio baklava that is supposed to only have pistachio seems a bit risky. One of my friends with a nut allergy ordered a caramel latte and started to get an allergic reaction. I don’t think she should have been getting a reaction when she ordered something she thought would be safe. Other than that, I love Zena’s and will continue to come!

I am truly addicted to Zena's delicious creations! She has amazing European style cheesecakes of so many unique flavors that are light and not too sweet. From cheesecake rolls, pastries, cookies to Kunafa chocolates, she is always creating something new and playing with different flavors. Oh and the rice pudding is a must try as well. She uses high quality ingredients and makes everything fresh with care. I especially love everything she makes with pistachios, which I believe she sources from Europe (Turkey?). When the occasion presents itself I need to try her Swedish Princess Cake and Raffaello Cake, both of which I hear are amazing. There are gluten free cakes as well.

My husband and I came here for the first time about a week ago for a coffee date, something we try to do weekly if possible. We try out many places. There are a few spots we return to but in our quest to try out a new place, he found "by Zena". I'm pretty sure we learned about Zena over a year ago because I specifically remember something he showed me on facebook about a lady baking from home, working on opening a shop and I guess it has finally happened! Let me say this: This is our Nr 1 spot now! In our opinion, Moorestown IS IT for great coffee and the town just got another gem. The taste of coffee sold us immediately and oh my the baked goods! The atmosphere, everything about it is just lovely. It's a beautiful coffee shop and the ladies working here are so friendly and nice! We love this spot. Definitely our favorite now! Today was the 3rd time we came (within 7-9 days) and I think we are being recognized already lol. Also...

Z by Zena is a dessert lover’s dream come true! They serve up some of the most incredible sweets I’ve ever tasted. The baklava is a standout—crispy, golden layers packed with nuts and just the right amount of sweetness. “In my 60 years being alive I’ve never tasted baklava this amazing” direct quote from my mother. 😂 But the real showstopper is the baklava cheesecake. It’s a brilliant fusion that combines creamy richness with the delightful crunch of baklava, it’s truly a slice of heaven. We were so enamored that everything was gone within 10 minutes! The cheesecake roll-ups are also a must-try; These are little bites of heaven, with a smooth cheesecake filling wrapped in a delightful pastry that makes for the perfect finishing touch. If you’re in the mood for some unforgettable desserts, Z by Zena should be at the top of your list. Each bite is a testament to their dedication to...
