Came in at 1:30 placed and paid for my $170 order. Pick up was for 6:45. I arrived 15 mins early at 6:30. 7:50 asked for a refund because I couldn’t wait any longer. I had my kids in the car including my toddler. Counter girl was extremely rude both times ! Told me I would have to come back another day for my money. When we originally ordered she said everything went up a $1 or $2. 50 count wing went up $12 100 count $14 we didn’t know this until we ordered. When we asked about it we were given an attitude. I get cost are rising but this wasn’t a $1-$2 charge it was an extra $26. NO SIGNS OR PRICE INCREASES ARE POSTED ONLINE, IN STORE OR ON THE MENU. We still placed the order since we drove from Philly.
I heard such great things about this place. Despite the nasty attitude when 1st ordering I still placed my order. Giving the benefit of the doubt. Was given a worse attitude when I came for pick up. I asked for the managers name and contact information. She said “I’m not giving you that. They will call you when they have time”. I was told no manager was on site. Which seems a little odd to me especially on an extremely busy night. The one blonde young lady working the counter was a sweetheart. Running around trying to get orders out and take care of customers. She was also apologizing nonstop to everyone. While the other young lady was giving everyone attitude, rolling her eyes and making smart remarks towards everyone.
Highly disappointed. Wasted my time , gas and tolls.
I understand things happen and get crazy on busy nights. People were upset over the “price increases” since they weren’t listed and the bad attitude from the counter girl. She’s the 1st person you see walking in. Not a single hello even when the store was empty when we placed our order. Attitude when the other girl asked her to get us 2...
Read moreI kept it pretty simple and ordered a cheesesteak, and a few of their garlic parm tenders. I got the food taken out and I am glad I did. It was about 90 degrees outside when I got there to get my food, and to be honest it was not much cooler inside. Was very humid in there. The counter help was a girl who was friendly, but not very personable.
Anyhow... Onto the food. First the tenders. The garlic parm sauce was very good. Decent breading on the chicken. Would have preferred it to be a little more crispy. I did see on their online menu you could get the chicken well done. I am wondering if that makes it more crispy? These are decent sized tenders. Like a legit half of a chicken breast. Not some little strip you'd get elsewhere.
The cheesesteak was REALLY good. Seasoned with a little to much salt, but it didn't bother me too bad, and didn't take away from the taste all that much. They put it on a soft seeded Italian roll which to menis nice because to often those seeded rolls are too hard. They offer Cooper Sharp cheese, which I was VERY happy to see. This in my opinion is the best cheese to get on a cheesesteak. To be honest,no won't get a cheesesteak if the place doesn't have Cooper Sharp. If you haven't tried it, definitely check it out. It is a sharper tasting American cheese, and melts in fantastically with the chopped meat and fried onions. The meat is chopped well. Not too small, but not too big either. And they use generous portions of the cheese and mix it in real nice. I'd say it is now my 2nd favorite South Jersey cheesesteak behind only Lillo's....
Read moreIt is beyond sad how horrible the customer service is. Hannah (the girl who took the order) has the nastiest attitude I’ve ever seen. While waiting for my food, I could hear how they were talking about customers (in a very degrading way). A customer came up to the window, and stood there for a while, before anyone opened the window to greet him & verbatim, Hannah stated “I don’t understand why they come up to the window and just stand there like do you want to come in here and make the food. They are annoying” It made me extremely uncomfortable to the point, I didn't even trust them to make my food. The wait time is also longer than what they tell you. They’ll say it’ll be a 15-20 min wait, however it’ll really be about 40-45 minutes if not longer. The wait time became an issue once staff became irritated at customers for coming up to the window after the 20 min wait time that was told to them. I also noticed how Hannah was very rude to each and every dasher that came up to the window. Hearing the cooks laugh at her remarks was distasteful. She added on the wrong item to my food, and once I went up to the window to ask if they didn’t have what I asked for she rudely said to me that they only had what they put on my food, but rather than saying they did not have what I initially asked for, why not just tell me that while ordering especially after I waited almost 45 minutes and spent over $30 on an item and tipped. I was also confused as to who she thought she was talking to. This was my second and last time supporting them. The customer...
