🍔 Healthy Garden Moorestown can be hit or miss. Some staples like the Beyond Burger and quesadillas are consistent, but if you step away to try other things you can get burned. I ordered the Spicy Brussel Sprouts for a healthy option today and received a tin of mushy, bland brussels in some kind of sauce for $10. It was disappointing to say the least. Choices like this make me rethink eating here.
🚗 Delivery is still fast.
👥 The employees are always pleasant, and I think the delivery drivers are some real MVPs.
🌐 The website has undergone some renovations, but there is a lot to be desired. So many items do not have descriptions making orders somewhat of a crapshoot.
💲 The value for some menu items is questionable, and most are simply overpriced. For example, $10 for soggy brussel sprouts is definitely too much especially for the meager serving size. In a lot of cases, the customer can choose to substitute out regular cheese for Daisy vegan cheese, but that comes with a hefty $7.99 price tag (more than a bag of Daiya cheese from the store). Now that there are a lot more vegan options around, this doesn't make much sense.
⭐⭐⭐ Overall, Healthy Garden has always been good to us and quick to resolve any issues, but as a health conscious household we're starting to lose sight of what value they really bring.
Original: As a vegan, there are few places I can go out to eat at. Fortunately, healthy garden is one of those places. Thanks for having...
Read moreOur take-out order was completely messed up, and we ended up paying over $10 extra for "extras" we never received. We ordered a chicken cheese steak sandwhich with extra cheese ($1), extra peppers ($1), french fries ($4.99) on a whole wheat roll. We also ordered a gluten free grilled chicken flatbread with an extra of avacado ($3.29). When we got to our destination, none of the extras we requested and paid for (total of $10.28) had been provided. The chicken cheese steak sandwich was actually a steak (beef) sandwhich and was on white bread even though the website offers whole wheat as an option--no extra cheese, almost no peppers (let alone extra peppers), and no french fries. No avacado on the flatbread. We called and explained this to the manager--all we would have asked for was a refund for the extras, but he insisted he would refund the entire order. Two days later and no refund of any sort yet. The quality of the food we did receive (minus the extras) was very good, but you'd better check your order carefully before you leave the restaurant.
Update: Healthy Garden followed up with a more than reasonable refund of $15. Again, the food quality was very good, it was just the details of the order that were not done correctly. My wife and I would definitely...
Read morenot crowded when I arrived around lunch time. immediately seated and given menu and specials menu. I ordered 2 eggs over light, potatoes, rye toast and papaya, kiwi Nutella crepe to come out at same time. also ordered decaf coffee and cream. the decaf was brewed for me so there was a short wait before it was delivered. there was only one person working when l arrived so he was doing everything.. seating customers, taking orders, making food and cleaning up. he was very nice, almost always had a smile. my food arrived altogether and was delicious. unbeknownst to me was the addition of a small green salad on the plate with the eggs, potatoes, and bread. I really liked the coffee which I thought was strong. the potatoes were cooked with strips of green and red peppers and onion. I removed the food I don't eat. the lingering flavors didn't bother me. the crepes, there were three, were stuffed with fruit, also delicious. I managed to eat two of them. I asked for boxes for the leftovers and had made arrangements to take out a bowl of chicken soup which I had eaten the last time i was at the restaurant. the bill was less than I expected and I will be indulging in a bowl of tasty chicken soup in a...
