Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Mooresville

Everything was perfect, as usual. We met our boys there this afternoon for a Christmas early dinner. We switched up the sauces since we're not big fans of marinara. They accommodated us with no questions asked. My son's tour of Italy was made with Carbonara sauce, my other son and I had the Seafood Alfredo with the Basil Pesto Lemon sauce (from the Chicken Mediterranean), and my husband had the Tour of Italy with same Pesto sauce as us instead of Alfredo. Gabrielle was our server and was 100% on point. Thank you for making our meal so memorable. 6/19/23 Ate with friends tonight. Lanna gave us her last drop of energy after working a double!! Her service was efficient, prompt, and friendly. Our friends are gluten restricted and were thrilled to find out this location has special menu items and kitchen accommodations to suit their needs. We'll all be back! 7/13/23 In the area, so we had to stop by. Caleb gave us fantastic service. Today, we both had the Build Your Own Pasta. Mine was my usual angel hair with scampi sauce, sausage, and Zuppa Toscana. Hubby surprised me by ordering rigatoni with meat sauce, meatballs, and salad. He usually doesn't like red sauce but said it was delicious. My meal didn't disappoint. 1/24/24 We met my sister here for a "rain check" dinner, since it was raining. Our server was OK at best. Hubby had "build your own pasta" and added sausage and salad, Sis had unlimited soup and salad, and I had Chicken Scampi and Zuppa Toscana. My chicken is the only thing to review this time ... It was flavorful but had a ton of green peppers in it, which are not something I care for. The sauce was NOT what I expected. It tasted lemony and (?) just strange. The chicken was moist, and the pasta was al dante. I love the Shrimp Scampi sauce and thought the chicken Scampi would be the same. NOT. Boxed it up for hubby to have tomorrow. 4/23/24 We were near the Mooresville location and enjoyed an early dinner with my sister. Lee was very sweet and did a great job keeping my husband happy by bringing him many salads. He loved his BYOP with Grilled Chicken and a mixture of two sauces. My Zuppa Toscana and Grilled Chicken Alfredo with a side of their delicious sausage were amazing. Sis had soup and salad but had both Zuppa Toscana and Pasta Fagioli as she craved both. All parties were full and carrying tomorrow's dinner with a smile on their faces! 11/22/24 Ate tonight with friends who have SEVERE allergies. Our server, Alaina, made our meal feel like we were in her own kitchen. She took meticulous notes about the two meals, ensuring that they came out correctly. The manager delivered the meals, and Alaina took exceptional care with the soups and salads. I experimented with Parmesan Chicken and ribs. Both were very good. We weren't rushed and had a great time with our friends. Olive Garden always honors our special requests. We will continue to dine here and bring...

I’m giving 2 stars because food was good.

Arrived at 6pm for a table of 9(6 adults/3 kids). They said hour and half wait which was basically dead on. No problem because they have a bar. This bar sits 9 people. The bar at my home is bigger. Why open a new restaurant and have 9 seats at a bar. I know the bar staff was busy but at least acknowledge the 3 of us standing there like fools for at least 6-9 minutes before she even looked up at us not once but twice. Would have had double the drinks if they had better bar staff. Bigger bar, better bar staff = more money for the business.

Now we finally sit down and you think the wait staff would be smart enough to bring out bread sticks immediately. Like they do when you eat at a Mexican restaurant and they bring you chips and salsa as soon as you sit down. We have been waiting an hour and half, bring bread out immediately....... No, let’s wait another 10 minutes or more to bring bread out.

Wait staff messed up on a couple drinks as well. Bringing the wrong drink not once but 2x to the same person. Never asked if we wanted another drink either. We had to track down one of the 2 waiters we had just to ask for another drink. More drinks=more money on bill= bigger tip if there good. Also, bringing out half of the order to the table and waiting about 10 minutes before the other half came out. One of us ordered an appetizer as a meal and we said to bring it out with everyone’s food as a meal. Nope, brought it out 1st thing. No cheese was asked to be sprinkled on the food because they just dropped the food and left. Had to track them down just to ask for cheese.

This location is also missing a lot of tables which leads to more waiting time. Can’t make reservations at this location but one of the workers said they would have reservations in 4 months. Really. Where are the extra tables and chairs? This location has been open for over a month already. How long does it take to get tables delivered.

Food was good but service sucked. I will try this location again when or I should say if they finally take reservations. I will review again if I ever make it back to this location. Arrived at 6pm and left at 9:55 pm. 4 hours later.

Well went back to this location and the service still sucked. Ate my soup and salad before any bread came out. Had to ask 4 times for bread. I would have loved to dip into the soup but nope. Place just blows. Don’t bother unless your by yourself and sitting at...

We came here in a Saturday night around 5:30. The lobby was packed, which we were expecting. The wait time was 1 hr- 1 hr & 30 minutes. We waited and were seated back by the bar. We had a huge table for just 2 adults and a baby. Apparently the front was under the impression that there were 7 of us? I don’t know where they got that from. The waitress had come over after a couple minutes and looked very confused and asked if we were waiting for more people and we said no it’s just us tonight. She stood there just starring at us... then she said okay well then can I get you something to drink.. that was all great all up until 35 minutes later she came over and told us that “Our food is taking longer than expected, so she put a rush on our food For us” there were 3 other 2 tops sat after us... way after us... that had received their drinks and food before we received our food. Another 35 minutes went by and we had finally received our food. So that’s 2 hours and 20 minutes we’ve already been at the restaurant. I don’t want to assume, but I’m pretty sure the waitress forgot to ring in our food. For those that have a baby, know that after 7:30 pm they start getting really restless and sitting in a high chair for that long is too long. We were in the restaurant for 3 hours!! Our food process being the longest. I understand the restaurant is new to the area, but we have been to plenty olive gardens as it is one of my favorite places to eat and this was horrible! The waitress made us seem awkward and we were not happy to wait an hour and 10 minutes for our food! I noticed a table that was seated after us that had already received their food, he mentioned to his wife that we still haven’t gotten our food and were sat before them. I used to be a waitress, this is just uncalled for. We didn’t ask for a manager because we needed to get our baby home to bed, not expecting to be there for 3 hours. Not sure we’ll be back......
