I arrived shortly after 12 noon on Sunday, February 28, 2021. I was almost immediately able to place my order, and the cahier was very friendly but everything went downhill from this point forward. My order for carry out consisted of a concrete with peanut butter, kids meal with corn dog, cod sandwich, side salad and a sourdough melt combo. My concrete was almost immediately made and handed to me. After waiting somewhere around 35 +/- minutes my order still wasn’t ready so I went and asked to see a manager and requested a refund. She asked what I had ordered and went in search of my food. A minute later she came back with a tray of food and said here is your order. Some of it was missing and it was on a tray not prepared to go. I again asked for a refund stating the order was supposed to have been to go and items were missing. Again she asked what I ordered and walked away and boxed and bagged the food. She brought 2 bags of food and I looked and was still missing food. Again I asked for a refund and she just went and finally obtained the entire order. Her only reply was here you go honey here is your food. No apology was ever given for the slow service and total incompetence of the crew and management at this location. The manager never said directly that she wouldn’t give me a refund but it was obviously implied. After a customer has asked 3 times for a refund and it’s not given it’s a pathetic business practice. By the time I finally received all my food and walked out it had been around 45 minutes. My concrete was now just basically peanut butter flavored milk and I received a Reuben sandwich instead of the burger I had ordered. The fries were hot and fresh and that is the only good thing I received. It’s sad I paid $30.06 for basically just some French fries as this was the only edible thing. This was my first ever dining experience with a Culver’s restaurant and it was terrible. The restaurant is only seating at 50% capacity so one can only imagine how terrible things will be when opened back to full capacity. Corporate needs to send their training team back in and the owners should be ashamed to be taking advantage of customers in...
Read moreLet me preface this review with stating that they have only been open for about 3 weeks and their entire staff is still in training, so they got a pass from me and that is the reason for a 3 star review instead of a 1 star review. So......we went inside for supper last night to try it out since the drive through line was very long. My husband ordered the 2-pc cod dinner with slaw and he asked for cheese curds instead of fries and understood there would be an upcharge. I ordered the 10-pc shrimp dinner with the same sides. We each ordered a drink. When they brought our order, my husband got a cod sandwich and a large order of cheese curds. I got my shrimp and a small order of cheese curds. That was it! So I went up to the counter and the man I assume was the manager rang up the cod dinner and was going to charge me again!!! He said he can't take back the sandwich now and that I had to pay for the dinner!!! I told him I would be happy to pay the difference, but I would not pay for both as the original ticket was already right at $40!!!!! He seemed irritated and agreed to not charge me anything else. So he wrote down what we still needed to complete our order. We waited for a good bit and when he came back, we still only got 1 order of slaw and my hubby had fries when he asked for slaw. So the order was still wrong, but we chose not to complain further. The manager did give us a card for a free single dip custard. So all was not lost!!! I think what bothered me most was the manager's inability to handle the situation properly upfront. I'm sure he has dealt with this so much from reading the other reviews. He needs tougher skin and a softer demeanor and he will be fine. We will try it again in a few months!!! By the way, the food WAS very good afterall.....but pricey for a...
Read moreSo...As a local downtown Mooresville business owner, I know the results and consequences of reviews. Some are accurate, some are obviously bias! I write this after 10 visits to our relatively new Culver’s business.
Tonight for the 4th time out of ten, my food was unsatisfactory. My wife orders the 3 piece fish dinner with both sides slaw, and I order the double swiss mushroom burger with fries. $ 21.36... In the past I have had issues, missing sides, completely soaked buns, no fries...I have learned to check the bag... I wish I could show you a picture on this review of my burger tonight. There were 3 mushrooms on the bottom of the once again soaked, soggy bun. In the past, being a business owner, I called to inform the shift manager, instead of issuing a poor review, of the poor quality or missing items. They made note politely, took my name, then issued a “I’m sorry coupon” to accommodate our next order. I’m not interested in free food, just good food when I order it! It is a great gesture but obviously not a fix to what is an reoccurring problem with their quality!
I love the food when it’s good, and the employees are always pleasant, but a 60% satisfactory percentage is not what I’m looking for when spending over $20.00 for 2 people for fast food.
Please train your employees and supervise the food leaving your take out! If my customers were only 60% satisfied I would have been out of business years ago.
This occurred on 02-05-2021 @ approximately 8:30pm. Perhaps you can address the training of those involved and MAYBE if I hear from you as to how you intend to improve these incidents we will try you ONE MORE TIME.
Kindest Regards, Eddie Wheeler Owner of; The Back Room, LLC Historic...
