DON'T EAT HERE...EVER!!!! I really wish I had read their reviews thoroughly prior to selecting this deli to celebrate the first day of our daughters freshman year in college. Unfortunely, that turned out to a big mistake which is consistent with other many other consumer experiences. First and foremost, they DO NOT use gloves or ANY protection while handling food which is incredibly concerning with COVID. In addition, MULTIPLE people were handling our sandwiches. When I questioned this unsantarory practice, the owner became incredibly belligerent, literally yelling at us. Both the husband and wife (the owners) were extremely impatient and incredibly rude and trust me when I say that's putting it nicely. They exhibit absolutely no customer service to the point where they called us DEROGATORY names as we were leaving, which seems to be a common practice after reading their reviews. Who does that??? I won't even address the very old and very questionable salads in their deli cases and their sub par sandwiches, but I guess I just did. Other potential customers who witnessed the exchange, opted not to eat there due to the owners rude behavior. They were also St Mary's parents, checking out the area for potential eating establishments. I strongly believe in supporting small businesses however NOT in this case, I will NEVER return because the owners clearly don't care about nurturing their business or establishing a relationship with their paying customers. Visited April 2017 - Sandwich were great but customer service was horrible. I get to the register after I placed my order (issues here as well) and get this older lady upset with me because I was unaware this is a CASH only place. No where when I came in or ordering did I see this posted and was a bit thrown back seeing we are in 2017 where everyone takes cards. I thankfully had just enough cash on me for our family to eat. Then we decided to eat inside and got dirty looks from employees and customers due to the lady behind the register loud taking about our cash bill that was due. It was the most uncomfortable feeling ever. We recently moved to this area March 2017 and we will never eat here again because of the poor customer service and cash...

Sad to say that even though the sandwich I got was DELICIOUS, I wouldn't make a trip here again. I was excited to try a new spot, but as soon as I walked in , I felt unwelcome. I didn't know that I had to order first and then pay, and the cashier (an older woman) made me feel like an idiot for not doing that. The gentleman who made my sandwich was not friendly and didn't seem like he was interested in answering my questions, even though it was my first visit. When he called out my order, as I stood to get it, he just slammed it on the counter and walked away without giving me a chance to say thanks.
