Pennini's — Restaurant in Moraga

Penninis blew it tonight. The person on the phone had little patience to start. Bad tone. I honestly don’t know how ya’ll got this so wrong today. I ordered dry wings, a marguerite pizza and penne pasta with shaved parm, plus a side of meatballs. What I got was cheese pizza with tomato and raw garlic on top. Chicken wings covered in way too much raw garlic and plain pasta with dry meatballs.... Plus I waited nearly 2 hours for a delivery from about a mile away. Worst $50 I have spent in a while. The food was barely edible for all the garlic in everything. Horrible choice tonight. We keep returning to this restaurant. It's definitely earned its 5-star review.

First of all, AWESOME stromboli calzone. I rarely rate a calzone above a pizza. But this calzone is seriously Hall of Fame. No seriously. Order one. And you may need to split with a friend, because you definitely get your moneys worth of food.

And you can also order off of Michael's (partner restaurant) menu. So my husband can order the calzone from Penini's, while I order the mussels from Michael's, and we're both served awesome meals.

The people here are cool and every time I come in here, the one thing that comes to mind is "these people love their jobs and like working here"!
