Arby's — Restaurant in Moraine

The good: The lady who is almost always taking the orders & working the window is very pleasant, friendly, and polite. That's hard to find at fast food places these days where rude tone and employees who seem a step away from suicide watch are the unfortunate norm.

The bad: Sloooooooooow. Every time. Most of the food at Arby's is made before you get there. They have to make fries fresh, but that's not exactly rocket science. I will never for the life of me understand why Arby's is so darn slow (not just at this location, but pretty much all of them). Also I've had some order accuracy issues here, but generally speaking the food is always fresh and tasty.

All told the good outweighs the bad. The employees at many other fast food places these days are so outright hateful that I worry sometimes about the safety of eating the food. I have zero worries about that at this Arby's so I am giving 4 stars when it probably should be 2.5 to 3. Just please start paying attention to "no tomatoes please." People who don't like tomatoes really REALLY don't like tomatoes, and when they put them on the sandwich and then suddenly remember and pull them off and wrap it up and bag it it still has nasty tomato guts/seeds left behind. Pulled in and immediately noticed how dirty and in need of maintenance the place looked. I should have left at that point. The building is in disrepair, and the landscaping was awful. Normally, if a place is this unappealing, I normally leave but have wanted to try their fish sandwich for a while. Also ordered the mozzarella sticks. Surprisingly, the mozzarella sticks were really good, although the price was outrageous. $6.69 for six cheese sticks. They are charging more than some fast casual restraunts. That's as good as it gets. The marinara sauce was hideous and still contains high fructose corn syrup. First ingredient water. Tasted like a bad ketchup. Fish sandwiches were not edible. Cold, smashed, brown lettuce, and overall just awful. Definitely had been sitting around for some time. Will not go and would not recommend. Pulled in about 9:20 in the evening now I know for a fact this location's lobby is open till 10:00 but as I got up to the door I noticed that employees were in the dining room area cleaning up and sweeping.Imade contact with a particular younger gentleman who informed me that they were closed due to an incident involving the police.I then made the comment that it was only 9:20 and they were supposed to be open in the lobby till 10:00 pm . He then proceeded to make shooing motions like leave just go I proceeded to ask for the 1-800 number to which he still continues to make the shooing motions with his hand and tell me just leave . I was adamant about that number and he walked up to the window and called me a homophobic slur that starts with an f and ends with a G. Mind you I don't know this young young man from Adam.
