Starbucks — Restaurant in Morehead City

Update: these ladies work so hard and so efficiently! I have never once received an incorrect order. I have never once seen or heard nasty attitudes, words, or facial expressions. No bumping and blundering. Just glorious employees with wonderful attitudes working the machine of teamwork in here. There were 5 baristas rocking through a serious peak time, and I enjoyed watching so much I had to leave a tip just for the show. Ladies: you are awesome! I like it here. One night I was here until close working on my laptop. They never gave me grief for it or for being there 5-6 hours. Instead, the shift leader brilliantly called out to her crew “we’ve got 15 minutes left!” and a few updates after that. I felt no pressure and it was easy for me to pack up and head out, letting them lock the doors behind me at exactly close. I’ve never had a problem with my orders, but maybe it’s because I know when something doesn’t taste quite right it’s more my mood than the drink itself. The workers are nice. I’m usually greeted but not always; sometimes it’s just a smile. The woman who does drive thru is wonderful at communication. Every time I come to this Starbucks (which is often), all of the staff is warm and inviting. But I have to share a particular experience I recently had. Last Saturday when stopping through the drive through early in the morning, the girl at the window Craigan, blew me away! She was so sweet beyond any expectation. She complimented me, and then proceeded to ask me if I had fun Saturday plans. When I told her I was a wedding coordinator, she was beyond kind and Thanked me for what I do for couples! As though I do some big noble job or helped her specifically, just because! From her smile to her warm heart, I was just beside myself. Just a small act of kindness and hospitality touch but it went so far. She genuinely made my entire weekend. She’s a breath of fresh air with the way people treat others today. I’ve been in hospitality and tourism management for 7 years, and she truly was textbook, genuine hospitality spirit to me. I prefer Starbucks over Dunkin Donuts, and often drive 20 minutes out of town just to go to this Starbucks, when there is a Dunkin 2 minutes down the road from me. I like this Starbucks because they get my drinks right. I order specialized drinks that are not familiar yet they nail them every time. The staff is pretty friendly and the manager is sometimes present and is also pleasant. I wanted to try a green tea frappucino and they even made little samples of it and now it's my favorite drink. There are a few spots in the front for parking, or a much more ample lot in the rear of the store. There are a few tables in the front, in the back as well as indoor seating. The music is sometimes not my taste, but who cares when they get your coffee right, that's what is most important. The restrooms are usually pretty clean every time I've been there, and the store looks pretty clean as well. They have a good selection of coffee cups, mugs, plastic tumblers, bagged coffee, packaged food, tea, music, etc to choose from if you're into that...
