Man, where do I start? First and foremost the young waiter (son of the owners. Early 20’s) who sat us was not professional at all. When we ordered our meals we asked to not have the steak in my daughter’s Pho’s. He responded with “you can just take it out if you don’t want it”. Strike 1. My wife ordered a dish with white rice but when it came to the table it had noodles. We let him know of the mistake and he admitted to mix up. We asked if he could just bring a side of rice and all would be good. Instead he brings a whole new dish over with the rice and wanted to take the other one back with noodles. We said no due to the fact that it was going to possibly get wasted or worse, taken to the table where it was intended to go to. Meanwhile his mom (one of the Owners) comes out for the first time and walk by our table several times and not say anything but stares at my wife plate. When it came time to check out they don’t bring a receipt to your table you have to go up front and pay. A itemized check was on the screen but the waiter quickly removed it so that we couldn’t see what was on there. The total was over $90. Two Bowls of Pho, Sandwich and pork with white rice. Yeah way too pricey for meals you can get back in Vietnam for way less and taste better. So, we finally see the receipt and he did charge us for the two pork dinners even though he admitted to his mistake. I went to talk to him about it,he was saying since she ate it he had to charge us. She ate from it and realized there was no rice and asked for rice to be brought to the table not a new plate of food I responded. I said don’t worry about us coming back and left. The pho was small and lacked any flavor. Again $18 for a small bowl of pho that is just water with oil and noodles...
Read moreTheir food such as Pho, spring rolls, even Bun Bo Hue- the spicy beef noodles are okay to eat. I’m not complaining about their food because they are normal and similar to another Vietnamese restaurants. Just one thing made me feel so disappointed was their mango milk tea. Beware of ordering ”milk tea” from the menu guys, they have many flavors as strawberry, mango, etc... but then they bring me a mango slush and boba without any milk. I’ve been drinking milk tea for years and know how basic milk tea is made then flavor is added. I asked him if it was a mistake? He says that the way mango milk tea made in the restaurant. I can’t believe that they don’t know the difference between the milk tea and slush. Then he asks me if I want more milk in my drink? I say yes, and he came back with some milk on the top for me. While my husband ordered Thai milk tea, it came out exactly the way it’s supposed to be....
Read moreI've been here 3 times since they opened. Very happy to have a Vietnamese (now more Asian fusion) restaurant in MHC. I'm a Pho fanatic and find their broth is very authentic and tasty. Today we sampled off their new menu, Udon and Yakisoba. I loved the Udon, the broth was light and the noodles were spot on. Yakisoba was good, but probably could use more sauce. Egg rolls I think are hand rolled here, tasty filling- my only complaint is they are oily. Shrimp rolls are delicious, and today we had Goysa dumplings and they were excellent. Service is always good, very friendly staff. They place is clean. Definitely worth the visit, please do so that we keep this...
