Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in Morehead

We were here on the 15th after having not been to this restaurant for months (after 2 bad experiences). We had heard there was new management! Well. It might have just been a bad time or something (5:20 ish)

The catfish was cold. Half the tables stayed dirty while we were there (40 minutes). 2 different soda flavors were out.

Now, I had the chicken and it's good as always (when it's not cold). Mashed potatoes weren't hot, but they weren't quite warm either.

We love a good buffet. So we'd really like to see some care taken with it. We'd eat here 10 times before our last couple bad experiences. We love chicken! I think this would be best to order/pick up until the buffet area gets taken care of.

Great looking redesign of the inside. Window ledges were totally dirty and there's a post outside thats completely unattached...

Will not go back! First thing their drive thru menu is a wrote on piece of cardboard. Tried to Order off the Morehead menu online Which was going to be 12 pc tender family meal with 2 mashed potatoes & gravy & corn which comes with the meal. Then added a large liver & large gravy. First we were told they don’t do 12 pc only 10 pc meals. Then was told their sides only come in 1 size. Now what we got…. 10 pc chicken( 5 legs, 4 thighs, & 1 breast) 2 mashed potatoes & gravy like they always were, the corn side was in a gravy container & the large gravy was in a small gravy container. I have pics but it gives me no option to load & the price the same as we have always paid for the 12 pc meal. I guess the kid that was working that had the big FU tattooed on his forehead was really trying to tell...

We went there in March and had a good experience. Went there today 7-7-19 and every table in there was dirty so our group had to clean off two tables before we could sit down. There was a 5ft radius of soda on the floor around the soda station and around the garbage on the other side of the restaurant. The soda duspenser was ejecting more foam than soda and the overflow was completely full so anything extra went rright on the floor. I almost fell. The straw dispenser was empty so I asked for straws and was given them without a word. The food was okay for the most part but there was a lot of ice and melted water in the chocolate pudding that made it taste off and the baked beans and greens tasted old.
