Better-Be Donuts — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

Better Be Donuts has the freshest baked goods: from light and fluffy glazed donuts to delicious cake donuts and delectable apple fritters, as well as other standard donut selections - they even have ham and cheese filled croissants that are better than the ones from Starbucks. They are open at 5:30 am 7 days a week and close at 9:00 pm every day except Sunday when they close at 8:30 pm.

I usually visit once a week and try to go first thing in the morning when the donuts are freshest and still a bit warm. On a few occasions when I was unable to stop in the morning I called ahead and asked to have my order pre-packed for pick up anytime up until closing, thus ensuring I would have my weekly doughnut fix.

The employees are well mannered, attentive, and are quick to help. But be warned; these doughnuts are so good that by closing time there is little selection left from which to choose. If you can't go until late, it's best to call ahead...

I got a dozen donuts. Half of them were over cooked and tasted burnt. The traditional sprinkle donuts we’re good. The maple and chocolate bars were burnt. The maple bar had a very good maple flavor separate from the donut. The jelly donuts were absolutely terrible. The jelly tasted like licking red plastic. Probably from being over cooked.

Pros- they take debit/credit, the glaze on the donuts is good and the service was as good as any.

Cons- hi expectations from being Moreno Valley’s voted best donut shop and served over cooked...

Went today in the morning, and one of the two girls working there was so rude. I went into trying to buy a dozen and she didn’t even give me time to choose properly. Went up to pay and asked me if that was it and I responded yes. Then ten seconds later she yells at me is that it. Went with about 5-6 Coworkers who told me originally about this place After what happened today, we are all staying away from this place now and telling friends and family...
