My original post mentioned how the owner was yelling at one of his workers in front of customers, making the guy feel like garbage. I am leaving it at 5 stars for now for the service presented my family by the employees while there, however, what you see in his response disgusts me more than I thought possible. To owner- You said you aren't going to change, and that you have been doing this the same way since you were 13? What a horrible idea to continue guidelines set forth by what is barely a teenager. Your response showed just about every sign of a fear based manager, which if you have ever taken a business administration class or read a book on it at least you would see how deplorable that is. However, I pity the fear based leaders because it is based in fear in yourself and the ultimate realization that you have no power anywhere else. So here is what YOU need to know as a business owner... Plenty of restaurants are clean (cleaner than yours, needs new paint, new equipment etc) that don't manage through yelling and beratement. You aren't old enough to be claiming to be a dinosaur, and plenty before you lead differently, ie Dwight D Eisenhower (please read up on him). But most importantly, customers base their decision to come back to your establishment based on many things, and trying to eat while people are being screamed at making the whole environment tense is unacceptable, and that is why my family, friends, and co-workers have all decided to not return. ”The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.” —Jim Rohn I know this is all falling on deaf ears, but since you wanted to try to...
Read moreWent to this eatery on Friday March 20,2020 they we busy mind you so I give them credit for even trying to be open during this time. We ordered 3 orders of boneless 2 lemon pepper and 1 buffalo. Got all way home to find out that all the orders were buffalo. Called and Spoke to Mark who said he was the manager in charge. I told him that I would drive all the way back for him to replace it and he said that’s fine no need to return because they had just ran out of the boneless wings, he would take my name down and to ask for him when we were ready to cash in our store credit. Today March 23,2020 I called to receive what was promised to me and the store OWNER got the phone and said that he would not honor what was promised due to the fact that I didn’t return the food. Once again I stated when I talk to mark he said there was need. He said that he was the OWNER and did not approve it, but he clarified that my name and order was in the books. We have been going to Big Guys for a while now. There service is great when Dining in, but pick up and over the phone is a mess. I would like to thank mark for being kind and responsible when we called but the owner is very rude!!! And that was not okay to sit on the phone and argue with me for 30 mins to say I can only replace one order if you don’t report me on yelp. In all honesty I don’t even want one order to keep my mouth shut we pay pretty good money and leave tips. All I wanted was my...
Read moreHonestly I’m so sad! I come here with family often and came here awhile back to celebrate my graduation and was so happy with the food and surroundings. Now fast forward to Today after my last straw, throwing up and my stomach is turning big guys being the last thing I ate This has not happened to me here prior to this, or ever really, my stomach usually handles things well also the food did not look or taste bad but it definitely is not sitting well. I finally went to celebrate my daughters recital to have a horrible experience starting with a dead cockroach by our table and flies everywhere, ok I get it, it’s summer but if I can’t eat my food without swinging my hand continuously there is a problem. I arrived a couple minutes after my family ordered and we were so upset because we felt bad to ask for a refund so we are trying to enjoy our money spent the best we can But I can literally stand at the register waiting for assistance by the TWO FEMALES STANDING DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME but don’t bother to look at me or say hold on a second or WHATEVER so a cook from the back has to yell can I help you with something... and to top it off a drunk man with ONE SHOE ON kept bothering us while we were eating. We literally left our full glasses of beer because we were ready to leave. My only advice is listen to your intuition when it tells you to run!!!!! I’m all for supporting local businesses but come on this...
