Birrieria El Tijuanazo — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

11/19/2022 Saturday waitress: Tatiana 3 waitress 3 tables only one was done another just got Their at the same time we did the other family was attended 2 min in seating down brought menu got their order got their drinks few min later with the sides. We got notice 10 min when the young lady came tries to get our order with no menu. Then 8 minutes later comes by to get our order serves my prepare drink with no tajin rim brings out the wrong order comes back with the order then makes another mistake with not bringing the right order….. never did she ever came by to check is everything ok o we need anything else wanted to order more drinks but never get her attention. Then she just stands on the corner to talk to the cooks for a while then stands on the computer to assume check her tables then just stands to chat with other waitress never did any of the girls check any tables if they need anything. I for sure recommend for people to take the food home instead of bad service o not having a good customer service. This place needs a leader/ manager to teach/train great...

I recently visited Tijanazo and wanted to share my experience. The restaurant has a very minimalist ambiance with just chairs and tables, so if looks matter to you, it may not be the ideal choice. However, the food was pretty good. I tried the Quesobirria and found it to be a 7/10. Other family members had the birria tacos, which they also rated 7/10, and the bowl of birria, which was a decent size and received a 7/10 rating as well.

One interesting thing to note about Tijanazo is their approach to handling dishes. Instead of washing plates, they wrap them in bags to avoid the need for washing them later. That doesn't look professional or appetizing at all, it was almost lazy looking and that might be the case.🤷🏻‍♀️

We arrived at the place as first timers and upon entrance, ambience of the place is very inviting and wholesome. We were seated and proceeded to look at the menu which although is limited due to the current COVID situation, is very appealing and tasty. We tried the birria broth and their signature quesabirrias. These two meals were satisfying and delicious as they birria was very tasty and perfectly balanced in spices and condiments. Nonetheless, their broth was delicious and the perfect compliment for the quesabirrias. Also, their signature waters were very good as I had their Jamaica water and it had the perfect sugar balance for my taste.
