El Ojo De Agua Taqueria — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

Mother Day 2023, after my mother wanted to have brunch here my party of 6 came with some restistance. They have catered to the holiday set up tables with flowers and balloons. Upon walking in we were seated immediately asked for our drink orders and handed menus. We ordered 2 orders of gorditas with lettuce and cheese were perfectly cooked no complaints. Tried out the ramen birria plate with a healthy amount of meat super happy with it. Menudo with pig feet no issues with it. Rolled taquitos lot of meat in them. Lastly the plate of borrego left us super filled. Manager Joana and other staff were super attentive. Happy this time around with the experience as we paid we were given a complimentary vase with two roses and white lilies.

Feb 2023, After an outing, came for 3 plates of Borrego/barbacoa, an asada fries, and a pampazo. Arrived 50 minutes before closing hoping to get out 10 minutes till. We asked for coffee we were told "hardly have any left but I'll give you what's left" a horchata and cucumber water. Food arrived asada fries weren't seasoned that great, pompazo was good although oily within bread wasn't cooked enough. The barbacoa/Borrego was great no issues when we asked for another order or tortillas was told they were out and when we asked for coffee they said they were out. I understand your close to closing although to tell customers your closed 15 minutes beforehand your losing customers. I get it we want to go home we've all been there. Food could have been better not rushed.. we left 10 minutes...

My mom and I are not familiar with Good Mexican food places in Moreno Valley (we are not from here) but we happened to be at dollar tree and see this place. And the two dishes we had were Amazing!!! The food was made super fresh! Food was so good we wanted to tip the cook! She had the chicken enchiladas with green mild sauce. They were so flavorful and the tortillas are a little thinker then the ones we usually see. They were fresh and so delicious.. I had the asada sope and let me tell you I wanted no other taste in my mouth till I was completely done lol it was so good I ended up ordering two even though I couldn’t finish it. Pretty poor. Underwhelming. Food was good. Service was terrible. We were seating upon entering. I thought we were off to a good start I was wrong. Waitress had an attitude that you could see over her face. I understand the service industry is a tough place to work but don't radiate your energy onto guest entering. Ordered my drinks and received shortly after ordered during the same return trip we ordered our food. The place had 7 other patreons that had received their food already yet our order for two adults was over a 15 mins wait. During this time I had finished my drink.
