Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

August 27 2024 Today I invited my senior father to go have lunch. A bunch. All you can need pizza buffet. We have been going to this shaky's. For many years since we moved to Moreno Valley worst experience ever will not be returning after the experience we had. I should have right away. Ask for my money back and walk out the door and not look back to start off The plates that are given to you are so disgusting. I had to ask for a different plate and the second plate. I was given was almost as worst as the first one number 1 issue. I feel shaky. Should look at their plates and toss away. The ones that are just 2 worn out and stained. Yes, they might be washed and sanitized. But appearance is number 1 second, as we started to proceed to the buffet. Everything was filthy. Not only the food was cold dry and some. Items, we're just incredible to look at and not in a good way. Mashed potato and gravy was disgusting appearance, but I still. Move forward and said. Well, at least we'll try it I. Requested fresh chicken since most of the food looked like it was sitting there for hours. From what I can tell a supervisor was the one that was adding new chicken. But come to find out as soon as I sat Down and took the first bite of the chicken. That was supposedly fresh. It wasn't hot. Pizza also not fresh. And yes, I understand some customers are not. The cleanest people and toppings may roll off on to the counter or There may be some food that spills out of the containers as well, but as a business owner and supervisor this must be a number one concern of keeping this area clean and I'm presentable to the customers. As we're eating our food, my elderly father. It did not have a very pleasant. Look on his face after running a couple. Errands and coming home. We both noticed we had a funny feeling. And not feeling so well after our experience. We started talking about what great service. This shake is used to provide. My father was also sharing that my uncle knew the owner as well as my father and he took great pride. And very friendly person with his customers. My father also shared. That the owner I have passed away. I can definitely tell that this shakeys has gone down. Definitely down a drain. I did want to mention something to the supervisor that was walking around with a face of displeasure. It looks like no one wants to be there, including the cook. No one was friendly except 1 young lady. That was picking up the trays and the dirty dishes. She did approach us where they smiled and asked us if she can remove our plates. But beside that 1 young lady, the manager the cook and the person that took our orders was not friendly at all. And their body language do not help at all. I never tried to be rude or try to. Complain, but after this experience I believe I have to say something. I hope someone reads this and takes actions to better this place. Otherwise more people we'll stop pointing to this place And it will be another thing that Moreno. Valley end up losing I noticed that we're able to add photos. I really wish I would have taken out my phone and taking pictures of what we experienced. I know this is a very long review but I hope someone takes the time to read it sincerely. I hope there is a change too bad though. I doubt me and my father will ever return. At least to this one particular shakeys, best of luck...

I gave this place 1 star for many reasons. Today was my first time at this location with my family. First off, it appears they had nothing but young, inexperienced kids working there. None of them even greeted you. They didn't smile, they didn't even thank you for coming. ZERO hospitality. Zero enthusiasm. I seen 1 actual adult there. This was literally the worst place I've ever dined in my life. It was dirty. Napkins all over the floor. Our table was gross with crumbs and marinara stuck on the table. I cleaned it best I could. Our server was a young girl who brought us the pizza first, and then brought the overpriced, puff ball sized chicken with the overcooked, burned bread that was tough to bite. She brought our plates last. They should train them to carry the pizza and the two tiny baskets together. It's not that hard. Let's talk about the food. I took photos of the pizza, which was just horrible. But, I paid for this so we ate it. The pizza had Mariana all over the platter it came on, like they just threw it on there, carelessly. Look at the photos. The photos I posted is Literally, and exactly how it came. I took the photos immediately. Disgusting. The meatball portion.. I mean, some pieces had 1 or even 2 mean balls. Just a sloppy presentation. Not even a good amount for your buck. where was the crust? It was just sogged with marinara. When I bit my pizza, it was soggy, like a mouthful of marinara on uncooked pizza. It needed to bake longer. The garlic bread was tough, overcooked, and Burned. The chicken.. there were 7 tiny balls of chicken. I'm assuming I paid $1 for each because it was $7 and some change for those. Had to go order more. Rugs on the floor were not properly set because I tripped on one and saw other people, trip on them. when I made a complaint to the cashier about the food, she offered nothing, like to call a manager. I assumed he or she wouldn't say anything anyway so, I just went back and tried to make the best of it. I wasn't even going to ask for the manger, because it was probably a 20yr old. Absolutely zero customer service there. The place was chaos. its important to make your customers feel welcome. Be professional and courteous when customers come in. This establishment needs a big change. It also needs to be cleaned and sanitized, assuming it wasn't considering our table was still dirty with food from the customers before us. Won't be eating there again. Ever. First...

My daughter earned a free child size personal Pizza from Shakey's for being good at school. We thought that was awesome so we decided to go try Shakey's out. the free pizza is nice unless you want to eat too. It costs $14 for one buffet with a drink. the only way this is a good deal is if you think having only two options for pizza and a very disturbingly disgusting salad bar is good. The only options I saw for half an hour we're a sausage pizza and an odd tomato and sausage. We thought a distraction from the food would be a good idea so we wanted to play a few games. 30% we're out of order and the tickets they give you are worthless. I didn't spend very much, eight bucks. But I ended up able to get one of those $0.25 boxes of nerds. And a spider ring. We had to wait a long time for the ticket counter girl to even address us. She was nowhere to be found. lastly, I don't know how many employees actually work here but at least six of them were standing around in one of these pictures. This is while I was waiting to be helped. And the coupon I brought for my daughter stated that she gets a free small pizza and she can either pick one topping or get six tokens. The lady at the counter argued with me and said she either gets a pizza or six tokens. Why on Earth would anyone ever come in to get six tokens? So she's either lying to me or misinterpreting the coupon, but either way here the customer is not right, the customer is not satisfied, the customer does not think the food is good, and the customer will...
