Starbucks — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I have been coming to this Starbucks since I moved here about 3 years ago. I have always come to study, but today's experience has made me realize that I will not be coming back to this location. I walked in and I was just expecting to get a water and maybe later get a coffee if I was feeling up for it. So, when I came in and I answered one of the employees if I could do a water. She quickly answered "oh did you purchase something?" We only give water to those who paid or make an online purchase." I haven't been to a Starbucks in a while but I did not know that I, now have to pay for water. So I just laughed because I never been rejected for a cup of water before and said no but okay. I proceeded to seat down at one of the tables before other employee ( with red braid hair) Very rudely I might add. Says " you have to be a paid customer to sit in here." Again I was taken back because I have never heard that before. I replied " are you being serious?". At this point I was flustered and confused and answered " okay I will do a mobile order." I placed it and a couple moments later she rudely said " so are you going to order something". I understand that maybe some people come in and don't purchase anything but there is free wifi and a quiet place for me to study at. I did purchase a strawberry acai that I did not even drink because I did not even want it. To top it off it was super watered down. I have never been to a Starbucks so rude and pressuring me to buy something....

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Starbucks, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The customer service provided by the staff was truly outstanding and left a lasting impression on me.

The employees were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every customer's needs were met. What impressed me the most was the speed at which my order was fulfilled. Despite the bustling environment, the baristas efficiently prepared my beverage without compromising on quality. It was evident that they were well-trained and worked seamlessly as a team to provide fast service without sacrificing attention to detail.

Moreover, the cleanliness and organization of the store were commendable. Tables were promptly cleared, and the overall ambiance was inviting and comfortable. The availability of various seating options allowed me to relax and enjoy my drink in a cozy setting.

I didn't add a rating for food as I didn't purchase any. However, the cafe was clean. I didn't notice any wrappings on the floor, any spills, or crumbs all over the counter (where you retrieve food/beverages). I understand that it can be challenging to keep up with the tidying of the cafe, especially during rush hours. Even if the cafe wasn't perfectly clean, I would still give a 5 star rating for customer service. The merchandise self was stocked and appeared very orderly. The greeting and customer service were on point! I noticed at least one barista made eye contact when greeting me, but I heard greetings from the other baristas also! Every barista was focused. They all worked well as a team!

I commute from the high desert. I take Creche Canyon to get away from most of the traffic to get to Moreno Valley. This Starbucks location is a lot more convenient to grab some coffee for myself and coworkers. I don't mind that it's a cafe as opposed to drive-thru. It's nice to be greeted in the morning with a welcoming smile to start the day!

I think this may be my default Starbucks location when coming down the hill for work from now on.

I give this location 5 stars.
