My family and I try and go to a new spot once each week. We look to support the small businesses, and they always have the best food. This week was steves burgers. My little one had the chicken nuggets meal, which was a pretty darn good deal for the amount of food you get. My big girl had the Corn dog meal, I tried the pastrami sammy, and my husband had a cheeseburger meal. Also, I got their chili cheese fries to try. The overall cost was fair since you get a fair amount of food for your buck. Starting with the chilicheese fries, they were very fresh, and I loved their French fries. Not super oily to where you're tasting oil. The fries were hot and cooked with a nice crunch and a soft center. Their chili is so bomb. A hint of pepper in them. I loved it. I just feel they put a little too much cheese. But yummy. I will say that the only thing about the pastrami they should do differently is chop the pastrami smaller. It made me nervous to bite it and pull a long piece of pastrami out since some parts are fatty. I don't like long pieces. the bun was fresh and soft, and it wasn't overly soaked with mustard. Hot, not super greasy fries that were delicious. the coke was a little flat, but other than that, mine was great. My daughters nuggets were hot and cooked perfectly. Some places tend to overcook the nuggets, and you can't chew them because they're rough. She said she liked the taste, but they were a little plain. I'm guessing she means salt. She likes a hint of salt on them. I tried them, and I agreed that they could use a little seasoning or salt. Very good, though. My daughters corn dog was so tasty. We all shared so everyone could try some. She gets a corn dog, no matter where we go. She loved that corn dog, and so did I. My husband said the burger was cooked well, the condiments were fresh, and the bun was good. He said the burger was juicy, and he liked the fries. Overall, it is an excellent spot to eat at. Definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read morethe other day I stopped off at Steve's Burger, at 12640 heacock Street Moreno Valley California 92553 main cross street is Sunnymead Boulevard.
If you're coming off the 60 Freeway go south on heacock Street, Steve's Burgers is on the left hand side freestanding building, just pull into their parking lot area. Or if you exiting the 215 freeway near March Air Force Base, head east bound on Alessandro Boulevard make a left on heacock Street heading northbound on heacock Street, Steve's Burger would be on your right hand side, (FYI) if you reach Sunnymead Boulevard you just passed it by one block.
Steve's Burger has the best fresh quality food ingredients in town. With their open-air sit-down restaurant, just walk up to the window place your order and sit down while you wait for your order, they will call your name or number. Sometimes the previous customer that was sitting at the tables leaves a mess on it, but if you just asked one of the workers they will be more than happy to wipe the table down for you with disinfectant. That day I ordered a large carne asada fries with grated cheese guacamole and fresh Crémà . All the ingredients were fresh to order as well as the carne asada. it was so much food I couldn't finish it all. The guest I was with ordered the chicken breast combo comes with real chicken breast on a bun "NOT" pressed meat chicken breast like a chicken nugget.... also came with a order of french fries...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love Steve's Fried Chicken Sandwich with fried zucchini. It's always crisp and delicious. I know they have other menu items, but I love the chicken sandwich so much, I can't get past it to try anything else. The zucchini is not the small pieces you usually see in most places. There is plenty to make a small meal of just the zucchini. Everything that I see other people order, looks delicious too. They have very large portions, so if your not hungry, don't order a regular portion. You'll be wasting it. Share or order smaller items, but ask how big everything is before you order. You can call ahead to order and they will give you a time that it will be ready or if you order far enough ahead, you can tell them an approximate time you will pick it up. If you order in person, especially around normal eating hours, expect a wait. They get VERY busy around mealtimes and CANT DO the FAST FOOD thing. Their food is always freshly cooked, no laying under a heating lamp. However you do it, you won't be disappointed. I have been ordering from them off and on for 6 years now, and I have never been disappointed in the food or their service. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If a mistake does happen, they are very willing to correct it with no complaints. As I said before, you will not be disappointed in Steve's Burger, no matter...
