I must say that I was very disappointed in the food. The atmosphere was nice and service was good but I’m coming to restaurant for good food. I’m sorry to the owners because I’m sure they are kind people and hardworking but you have to make sure the food it great. The tika masala was watery and did not taste like the tika masala you expect. Creamy, slight sweet, herbs, and seasoning just working amazingly together. It was a bit pricey for the quality of the dish. I’ve been to many Indian/Pakistani restaurants and I’ve had some amazing dishes however this just didn’t not do it. Again, service and restaurant were good but if I come back it would have been because the food was great. Don’t believe I would be coming back. Can not spend that much money on food just for it to not be eaten, literally. To the owners, do not be discourage by my review but take this and perfect the dishes. Believe me, there are levels you are able to reach just need to tweak the recipe more. Try other places, which I’m sure you have tried many, and really make it perfect. Now I’m just rambling but you have no idea. I’m extremely bothered that I spent that much money and the food is sitting in the fridge. No need to reach out to me or anything just please do better. I want to see this place succeed and comeback so hopefully in the...
Read moreThe dishes were very authentic and extremely flavorful! We had the Vegetable Biryani and Butter Chicken. Wow, what a surprise! The Biryani was very authentic and one of best I have ever had. Part of the masala has medium sized fruit seeds (pits) that add to the flavor ( you don’t eat that ) which really gives a fullness to the flavor along with the other spices. The Butter Chicken (halal preparation) which I personally pour over the Biryani, was equally amazing with a homemade butter sauce that just opens up your flavor buds with a deep mild spice that was just perfect. We also ordered the appetizer Chicken Samosas with the mint chutney that was likely one of the best Samosas I’ve had in the entire Bay Area. To wash it all down I couldn’t resist the Mango...

Spacious dining room with comfortable tables.
Spotless restroom, which is a good indication of a clean kitchen.
Lots of soft drink options, including Italian soda, as well as...
