Unsure why this place has good ratings, maybe ours was a one off bad experience. We ordered a regular bagel with cream cheese that I kid you not could not be chewed. My jaw was aching after two bites so had to throw it out. We also tried their croissant and the layers inside were undercooked and stuck together. Croissants are supposed to be flaky and airy to an extent, this was like chewing on a big chunk of pastry dough. We got a bagel sandwich with egg and cheese and that was the only edible thing but not worth going back. The overall quality of the food is just not there plus not to mention customer service is almost non existent. No smiling or greeting your customers, just rush get to the point...
Read moreSad it’s under new ownership, I miss the previous owners who in my opinion made the best donuts and bagels in all the Bay Area. Every weekend we would be there! It’s now been a couple weeks since the new owners took over and you can already taste a huge difference in quality. The bagels sandwiches are okay but the donuts have changed drastically. The donuts are no longer light, airy and fluffy, now they are hard, dense and dry. I brought a dozen and they were barely touched by the kids. Read moreI was passing by the store during the 4th of July parade and wanted to pick up a little snack so I walked into Donuts & Things. I got the crumb donut and it was so amazing!! We were pleasantly surprised. It was soft, sweet, cinnamon-y with a really good crunch. My fiancé and I went back in and bought the rest of the crumb donuts they had!
