First time here and first time at a Peet's Coffee in general. Full disclosure: I used to work at a law firm that got Peet's coffee by the truckload. (A bit of an exaggeration, yes, but not by much.) Every day, I'd come to work, and the place just smelled as if it were a coffeehouse! Of course, lawyers are famous for working through the night and needing coffee on IV drips to get through late-night powwows. And Peet's reigned at my law firm. But the coffee always smelled so STRONG that I never dared try it. (I'm a coffee weakling. I admit it! I do decaf and like it sweet and light--NOT dark, strong, and thick as petrol!) However, I was there to meet a young lady whom I was asking to do the cover art for my upcoming novel. She's in high school and not a professional, but she is a TRULY talented artist. I love to meet people who have talent and passion and see if there's any way I can get them in the spotlight with/for their talent. And my book cover, I'd hope, would be a great way to showcase her talent. (And, yes, I intend to pay her. So this would be her first professional gig, and I can say one day, "Well, you know, of course, that I was her first paying client!" (I'm actually not certain she intends to go into art as a career or just keep it her hobby.)) And she (thankfully) agreed to do the job! Yay! Anyhow, she lives in a different city, so Peet's was her choice for a meeting place that was centrally located between us. I got there early and ordered the hibiscus tea (served cold)! Yum! I LOVE hibiscus tea! And this had a WONDERFUL flavor. Very refreshing. The people working at Peet's were friendly and QUICK! My tea was ready before I'd returned my wallet to my purse! Anyhow, now that I know Peet's has hibiscus tea, I'll be back. And MAYBE one day I'll work up the courage to try their coffee. Maybe if professional baristas make it (and not a group of lawyers), it'll be better. Anyhow, I can't stand Starbucks coffee, so Peet's would have a loyal customer in me if I did like their coffee or their hot chocolate. (I love hot chocolate, but Starbucks even makes AWFUL hot chocolate, so I stopped going there because I never found anything I could drink and enjoy)! Next time I go in cooler weather, I'll try Peet's hot chocolate and see if I like it. (And hopefully I'll remember to post an update!) 5/11/22--Yesterday I was at my chiropractor and had some time before my next appointment, so I decided, since it was cold, I'd finally try out Peet's hot chocolate. And, hallelujah, it tasted like hot chocolate! It wasn't the greatest hot chocolate I've ever had, but it SOOO much better than the swill passed off as hot chocolate at Starbucks. I mean, HOW do you get hot chocolate wrong? I don't know, but Starbucks does, and I told the batista at Peet's that and made his day. He showed his appreciation in heartfelt laughter at my unexpected comment. So, yes, I can recommend Peet's hot chocolate.

i like their matcha latte (especially the blushing rose one). honestly peet whoever peet is, is a genius for the protein matcha. great way to meet macros while having a treat. they did mess up my matcha latte order once by putting coffee in it. i spent the next thirty minutes sitting on the porcelain throne

Every time I am heading down to Las Vegas or OC, I always stop by here for coffee. Today, we just driving around and got a ice cafe latte with coffee cake shared with my mom. Looking thru the window.

While we have some 7 $tarbucks here in MH we only have 1 Peet's and even though they are on the far North end of town I gladly drive there for a Capachino or Americano. One of the best coffee bargains in town is ordering the medium size Press Pot and having enough to share with a friend. As an added bonus you get to choose from their wide selection of beans which they then grind fresh for your Press Pot. I miss their New Guinea Highlands (the wonderfull results of transplanting Jamaican Blue Mountains root stock into a pretty much identical environment) but they still have Sulawesi-Kalosi which will...

I commute to Monterey from San Jose and this is a great place for me to stop if I need a boost for my commute. I'm highly prejudiced about Pete's, a pretty dedicated fan, and this location is no exception. The coffee will be delicious at any Peet's Coffee so it's up to the Baristas and the buyers who make the snacks available to make each location different. This is a location worth my time and money. While I can't eat any of the food offerings, it's always nice to see an abundant array of pastries and food that compliments good coffee. This location has that and wonderful service no matter how...
