Some of the best wings I've had! They were perfectly crispy, juicy, and I enjoyed all the flavors I got. I can recommend the Old Bay, Sweet Heat, and the gold sauce. Speaking of sauce, the one on the pizza was sweet and flavorful; the garlic dipping sauce was also a welcome addition. The pizza was thick and doughy with crispy edges, the way a pizza of that style should be. My only complaints are that the garlic knots were dry and doughy, as if the dough hadn't been mixed properly. Additionally, the food is also more on the expensive side, but it beats the cheap chain stuff. Other than that, everything was great!
Update:
Decide to dine in this time. Service was friendly and attentive. I got the gold wings this time instead of just having the sauce on the side, and they were good. The lemon pepper wings were way too salty and it almost ruined them. They serve a different take on a calzone and the sauce comes on the side, not inside, which I recently learned is more traditional. I also tried a bit of fries and they were insanely good. Whatever seasoning they use is like crack. Price was much better this time. Again, just shy of getting those five stars for me, but a solid four.
Update #2:
Just didn't hit this time and wasn't nearly as good as the other times. Cajun wings had barely any seasoning and therefore barely any flavor. Chicken parm sandwich was also lacking flavor. Garlic bread was way too cheesy and greasy. Onion rings were good and that house seasoning is still like crack, at least. They forgot one of my garlic sauces too. Overall a disappointing visit...
Read moreWow! Put this on your bucket list to eat here. Great place to take some friends and partake in the wealth of pizza creations this place has. First time eating here it has a small bar and sit down eating area, with music playing from a playlist I enjoyed. We had three in our party and on a Friday night around 8:30 we were able to get a table with no wait. We ordered the garlic bread, the Mother Teresa, the Margherita, and a pepperoni pizza. The garlic bread had a layer of cheese, dough was soft, and made it great to submerge in sauce. The Mother Teresa and Margherita pizzas were a thick crust, Detroit style pizza. The Mother Teresa was exploding with flavor and was similar to a Buffalo Chicken pizza but with more flavors and was well thought out. I really liked the Margherita pizza with the red sauce & cheese on the thick crust. The pepperoni pizza was a thin crust similar to Columbus style pizza and the pepperoni had a slight curl to them. All of the food came straight from the oven as it was hot. Service was excellent and the restaurant was moderately busy. We...
Read moreMy wife and I recently visited Lefty’s for the first time. We had previously heard, through the “Motown grapevine,” that the food was great. The venue did not disappoint. The inside was super relaxing and spotless clean. The bartender was very pleasant and attentive to the patrons at the bar. The food was delivered as ordered and quite timely. We tried two different flavors of the wing sauce and both were excellent. The wings were nicely size and cooked to perfection. The establishment also offered a nice selection of other wing sauces. The pepperoni rolls were exceptional as well. They were complemented by a healthy order of delicious marinara sauce. We did not try the pizza this time around, but it certainly looked wonderful. The bar offered several craft beer selections from the Chestnut Brewery. It would have been nice to also include a selection from the Screech Owl Brewery. Over all, a great experience and we highly recommend folks to give Lefty’s a try. We have already placed Lefty’s at the top of our list of go to places.
