Mario’s Fishbowl - Suncrest — Restaurant in Morgantown

August 30, 2023 Today, Thursday August 30th, Tony enjoyed a few Beers at Mario's while Terrie Clay-metzger and I had physical therapy.

We joined him after our 3 hr workout. Tony ordered another PBR Draft, Terrie went with Grey Goose & Vodka with a Diet Coke. I chose unsweetened tea With lemon And lime with 2 packets of sugar.

Terrie and I both went with Turkey Club but hers was minus bacon and tomatoes with white bread. I took mine the way its made but with Multi grain bread. Tony went with Philly Cheese Steak with fries. Terrie also had fries and I went with Ruffles.

I loved my food! I like this place. Tony's favorite in Morgantown.

7 months ago: Tony and I went to Mario's Fish Bowl Bar & Restaurant but we didn't eat. The place was packed and the guy at the door pointed me across the floor to 2 bar stools in the far back corner against the mirrored wall....I don't like eating at the counter, so I ordered Sprite with Lemon & Lime and Tony had a PBR on draft in one of their globed Fish Bowl style mugs.

The place was packed a noisy due to WVU vs Baylor Girl's Basketball game and NFL Wildcard Game so we will definitely go back again and try their food when I can get a booth to relax & eat!!

I’m usually not one to leave bad reviews, but my friends and I had a horrible experience at this Mario’s location last night. The service was terrible and we told our waitress that we were ready to order food, and she said she would be right back but took almost 20 min to come back and take our food order. My friends and I all got margaritas, and they were downright awful. They were so sour, it tasted like you drinking a super sour candy and we couldn’t even finish them. Our food took awhile to come out, and when it did, my patty melt was completely burnt and was black all over the patty and the bread. Not sure how a cook thought this was ok to serve, but it was disgusting. My friend’s Philly cheesesteak sandwich was also burnt. We waited almost 20 min for our waitress to come check on us for us to tell her about our food and see if maybe we could get it remade, but she never came back and because we were so hungry, we ended up just eating it. Overall, we just had a very disappointing dinner at Mario’s and will not...

The wife and I were here for a catered event where our group had the downstairs to ourselves. The group consisted of somewhere between 50 and 75 people, mostly from the U.S. but included a few foreign nationals. There was a buffet and an open bar. The food was fresh, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Several dishes were specially prepared by the owner and were unique to me. There was a fairly eclectic selection of beers to be had on tap as well as bottled and cans. We opted for Patron Margheritas, and they were quite tasty.
