WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Decided to try them AGAIN after the repeated attempts of rudeness from the SAME snarky woman with glasses/dark hair/facial piercings that opens the window in the drive thru. Be EXPECTED to know what you want and decide quick. She doesnāt have ātimeā or āpatienceā by the look on her face. Maybe they should have a specials board on the board outside too because I canāt be ready to order unless I read the board at the window. My husband and I this went this past Saturday to ātryā it again. Same woman. I asked her about the drinks on the board - One is pumpkin and one is pumpkin pie. I specifically asked if those were two different two drinks - says yes. So I then say ok, Iāll take the pumpkin - iced, please. Gives me attitude and is like , so you want the pumpkin pie? ā Uh? Okay. Why didnāt you explain that earlier that I canāt have pumpkin iced? (I still donāt know why I couldnāt have pumpkin iced -because she didnāt even explain it to me) Sassy, and rude. My husband saw the tension and I in no way gave her any attitude. She was smart not to come back to the window because I was going to go off on her after the way she treated me. The young man that came back to take payment was so polite and respectful .. he probably was trying to make up for her! This isnāt the FIRST time. This is why I donāt go here anymore. I am local here in town and proudly support other coffee shops here in Morris and yes STARBUCKS too. Get that woman off the drive thru and away from customers. Until she UNDERSTANDS that people need a minute to order or kindly explain the differences between coffees then the back of the coffee shop is where she needs to be. I wonāt be back and I know losing my business wonāt hurt them - but at least I can give NEW customers a heads up for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wanted to support this place and support them over Starbucks. I got there this morning and watched from the line as the same pair of gloves appeared over and over again. I thought maybe they were switching them out so I asked if they were when I got to the front of the line at the window. The owner got in the window and yelled at me for even asking. In a time like this, businesses that are still open that handle food should not cross-contaminate by not changing out their gloves. Imagine this: theyāre transferring germs from cup to cup to straw to food product all the way down the line throughout the day. By the end of the day, the last customers are being exposed to germs and bacteria from every previous customer when the gloves arenāt changed out. Not wearing gloves and washing their hands in between each order would be more sanitary than their current practices.
From on business owner to another, please please do your research in order to best protect your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSitting in Brewed Awakenings now, first time here and we are hooked. We had the Vanilla Chai, regular Chai Latte, South of the Border, and Caramel Macchiato. All of them are truly amazing. In addition the service is impeccable, Destiny was informative, friendly, answered all of my ridiculous questions because Iām so picky and did it with a smile, she then made all four drinks to perfection and her professionalism especially for this day in age at a coffee shop was exceptional. This place is better than Starbucks in taste as well as service. I always prefer to support local but Destiny displayed the service is just...
