Asian Express — Restaurant in Morristown

This used to be my FAVORITE Asian place, to eat, for years. They had the best food, best service and overall price. Then, and for the life of me, I don't know why, they CHANGED THEIR RICE! They had the best fried rice in town before they changed it, and now, it's absolutely terrible. I miss the days when the fried rice was the best part of the meal.

I dont know what part of the owners or management needs to see this, but please, PLEASE, go back to the rice you had 2 years ago and get rid of the rice you currently serve now as fried rice. Rice is the MOST IMPORTANT PART of the dish, and if the rice is off, the WHOLE MEAL is off.

Whatever you do, Owner, please bring the old rice back! I want to come back here 3x a week!! Instead of going to Emma's Asian One.

Ordered online and went to the drive-through window. My order was $30 and was crammed into one plastic bag with the sauce balancing on top. The lady threw it out the window at me and when she did one of the sauces flew out of the bag and onto my car seat. Thank goodness someone had put the lid on tight or it would’ve been a disaster. Food was mediocre at best. Shrimp were small and vegetable fried rice looked like a can of peas and carrots had been opened and a few of them tossed in. No sweet-and-sour sauce was provided and overall for the money it was extremely disappointing. Lady at the window was extremely pushy and just wanted me to get my food and get out of the way. In response to the review about food poisoning, it is hard to determine where you got food poisoning. Food poisoning could have came from anywhere you have eaten in the last 10 days! I have eaten at Asian Express many times! I have never gotten food poisoning! I love the place! They give you enough food to fill three people! I can out eat most anyone! ;) I could easily make two or three meals out of one meal here! The staff is friendly enough, and has never seemed to have any problems understanding my strong southern accent, nor have I had trouble understanding them. The negative reviews are undeserved, by people probably overcritical of anywhere they go. You definitely need to give this place a try. Their prices...
