First time trying Holston’s. We were a party of 5. I forgot to take pics of the food except the dip in the bread bowl 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 So, overall the food was good but we did have a few issues. The artichoke spinach dip was good but the tortilla chips had to be the bottom of the bag as they were too small to dip. We asked for more explaining the chips & showing how tiny & crushed they were. At $9.99 we got charged an extra $1 for fresh bigger dipping chips. The Mac & cheese was not edible, it was very overcooked & like mush. Two people had coleslaw with their meals & it had no dressing at all on it. Just a bowl of cabbages. One person ordered a Turkey club sandwich that was supposed to have bacon on it but didn’t. We did ask the waitress about it & she brought the bacon. 3 of us had fish which was delicious & 1 person had a burger with onion rings. So one person out of 5 of us had no issues with the burger meal. Not great odds but being Mother’s Day one would’ve expected them to be more prepared for the crowds. For a group of 5 our bill was reasonable at $100. Our waitress was Harley, very personable, always checked on us to ask if we needed anything. We might try one more time but not on any holidays & if/when we do, I’ll update my review.

I highly recommend this establishment to those who are seeking a very nice atmosphere. The background music is very pleasant and soothing. Our waitress ,Vicki , was very pleasant and did a wonderful job. We started off with the Avocado appetizer, delicious and the red sauce scrumptious. It also comes with a side of diced tomatoes. I had the 10oz sirloin steak ,ordered it rare with a side potato and spinach. The 10oz steak was cooked to Perfection and seasoned very well. The potato also cooked to perfection . My partner for the day ordered the Little Italy and was very happy with the results. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the pasta was Al Dente, highly recommend. We received the Orange Soak Cake as a dessert and let me tell you, I could eat that forever . It was not overly sweet, it was perfectly moist with a nice caramelized glaze on the side and just absolutely the most delicious cake I have had in Morristown Tennessee. I can easily see this becoming a great place for the college scene during the weekend hours and a place to get away from the kids. An all around great "date night" place to go.

First time here cause we love to try new places. I had the loaded nachos and my spouse had steak and shrimp fajitas. My nachos were pretty good but not something I would order again. The fajitas came out sizzling and smelled fantastic and were very flavorful....just the steak was a tad on the tough side but all in all, pretty good. The atmosphere was very appealing, the layout was attractive, charming and spacious enough to accommodate wheelchairs and large groups. The restrooms were clean and appealing. The service was excellent and made us feel very welcome. Very noticeable from the street and easily accessible. We will go again and try some other of the many delicious sounding options they have on the menu. Also had a variety of mixed drinks just for the holiday season and all year. Definitely worth a visit!!!

If I could leave a no star review I absolutely would. Let me make it clear that our food was good and the cooks should be applauded. That being said let me say this.....

We were treated nicely and seated quickly, my family sat patiently for 30 minutes (with 2 small children 4 and 1) before I decided I should ask for a waiter / waitress to come take our order. Firstly, no customer should have to ask for a company they plan on paying their hard earned money to provide them service. This was only the beginning of the end.

When we were finally given a waitress we explained how the checks should be separated and ordered our food. The waitress did not take my brothers order at all. Completely looked over him. We had to call the waitress back, really? Drinks finally arrive, guess what? We weren't given enough straws, umm, come on!!!! *WAITRESS, can I have a straw?! Ok, so they finally brought everyone's food out EXCEPT a child's food. No food should be brought to the table before a child's food. They're the most important customer...period. My children and my brothers children were not treated priority.

Ok, so a couple mess ups...WRONG there's more. Let me say at this point something more than some complimentary chips should have been in place.

So after we FINALLY have everyone's food at the table the waitress continually reaches over us, rubbing against us, etc....this is a huge food service etiquette no no. I only wish this is where this stopped.....

So after being bumped into reached over and all around ignored, service speaking, we are ready for checks!!! Thank God, right? Wrong. Remember in the beginning when we told the waitress how checks should be separated? Think anyone paid attention? Absolutely not. We asked for a manager at this point. Notice by this time everyone in the building is staring at my family like we are a circus attraction...we came to the facility with money and an appetite, not to have any problems. So, manager BJ comes and asks how we'd like our checks separated so we reexplain ourselves once more.....shew, almost time to leave this nightmare....nope, jk.

So the manager brings back tickets, I don't even look at the check, I mean my one year old who has had no nap and played his heart out at adventure ranch is READY TO GO....can't blame him..send my card back to pay for my food (which, at this point, should I really be paying anything?) When we get the check back my wife informed me they didn't charge us for our daughters food, great! I assume they're trying to make up for lack of service the ENTIRE time...nope, the manager BJ hasn't seperated the checks correctly, after we've explained how to do it not once but TWICE. They put my daughters food on my brothers check. We call the manager back, re explain how the checks should be done. He told us not to worry about it....ok I'm kidding, he didn't, he chose to make us wait LONGER while he corrected his mistakes. Unacceptable. Ok so it's time to leave! Hahahaha, I wish....BJ leaves me with no pen to sign my check with. (I really should've just left at this point.) I ask BJ for a pen and he says, I'm quoting here " You don't have a pen?" Now who in the world do you know personally who he's ready to go out to eat with their family that's goes "Aw man, need to run back into the house and grab a pen for the restaurant tonight, almost forgot it!"

Yeah, I don't know anyone either.

I'm typing this on the ride home....I have never in my life felt compelled to write a review online for ANYTHING. Usually, I chalk it up to someone having a bad day and go on about my business but this was too much. I had to vent to some outlet, since corporate is closed right now this will have to suffice until tomorrow morning when they open.

I mean they did offer us some free carrot cake, but after being fed BS for over an hour we just didn't have room for desert.

I would've been more satisfied crumbling my $30 bucks up and throwing it out the window on the interstate.

Again, the food was delicious.

I just left this place and it was the most horrible experience ever! I went with my family of 3 including myself. We sat down at one of the booths and got greeted nicely by our waitress. We ordered our food and the refills came back quick- that's a plus. We got our food, and after that it was a disaster. My mom ordered the chicken and steak fajitas and she only got chicken.. so the guy who brought our food out had to run back and get steak, but it wasn't even the type of steak you cook with the meal she got, it was very bland and it had basically no taste. My dad got some type of steak, with mashed potatoes and onion rings. First off, the mashed potatoes were instant, and if you cook like my mom and I- you know the difference between instant and REAL potatoes. He got onion rings with it but only 3! My dad is a very big guy and he said when he was done, he was still hungry. Finally down to my meal, I got the Hawaiian chicken, it comes with fries, rice and chicken with a pineapple on top with a cherry, the taste was good but the chicken was literally pink inside and it was so hard to cut. I kept showing my parents my chicken because I was so worried eating bad chicken that wasn't even cooked. We got done eating and the waitress was very snarky with us, she had a bad attitude and she took forever! It took like 10 minutes just to find her to take our ticket and check us out, then it took another 20 minutes just to find her again to bring us back the card! Overall experience, it was horrible! It literally just opened up and it should not be getting these type of reviews. Just go somewhere else and pay your money for a fair meal, like jeez. Don't...

The server was the only good thing today. My husband and I went to morristown resturant. He ordered the two taco which were portioned well and he said very good. I ordered the beef taco enchiladas. The first round no beef in the enchiladas, just a few sprinkles of cheese and maybe a half serving spoon of rice. I showed the server. She put a new order in and asked for a rush. Multiple parties seated after the reorder were served. While waiting we watched our server use a guide to make my husbands margaritas. No bartender. Server were using a cheat sheet. The server tended other tables and I guess noticed I only had chips to eat. My server went to get my dinner even though the food runner had been out 6 other times. The food did not measure up to what my husband had. There were two skinny enchiladas, maybe a tablespoon of beef and a sprinkle of cheese. I said nothing, until I take a bite. It was not cooked. The meat was room temp pre-made taco meat, the cheese still in same condition as when it was put in the tortilla and rolled, sauce was Luke warm at the most. It was like they wrapped and put under warming light instead of cooking it. . I showed the enchiladas to the server and she was horrified. She kept apologizing. This is kitchen management and a huge failure. This is a resturant, the food is what they do. They did it so poorly TWICE. Next my server spoke to the manager, who only offered 50% off my meal and never even came to speak with me. So I had no dinner and had to pay 50% for it. I do not recommend. There are so many other local resturants that are consistent and don't serve...
