Me and my family loves Pho. we eat it every sunday. We used to frequent here since we moved to NC from NJ couldn't find a better place. but the lady is very unkind and she kinda threw us off when she was being really cheap on the sprout. so we stopped going here and went to the place in Capital blvd. Yes. 35min drive just for Pho. we love it that much. but one day we were very lazy and tired so we decided to give this place another try. (and the owner of the other place changed so the taste changed) Walk in same guys and lady worked. I don't know if the lady is the owner but still unkind. ordered our usual. Pho tasted watered down somehow. maybe they didn't brew the broth well. tasted worse than my usual place. we have a really wild 3 yr old son so we usually seat in the corner. my son was being wild as always tried to catch him looked at behind a booth and SUPRISE!!! a dead roach... That really threw me off.. started looking around and oh my gosh they really need to clean their places... window sills were nasty as well... I own a franchise restaurant as well but as a restaurant owner this is unacceptable. wish there was no star option. I am going to contact the Health dept as well. Owner if you are reading this please be prepared if you want to keep your store open

Just hit up Pho 919 Restaurant and, man, it was good! The place has a chill atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly, making the whole experience really pleasant. I went for their signature dish, the Pho 919. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, packed with all those spices and herbs that make pho so amazing. It was like a hug in a bowl, especially with how they nailed the balance of flavors. The noodles were just the right kind of chewy, and the meat was tender and tasty. Every spoonful was a little adventure. It's clear these guys know their way around a pho bowl. The only thing I'd say is, it was so good I wish there was more! Seriously, it's one of those meals you're sad to see the bottom of the bowl. Everything felt super fresh, and it was obvious that they use quality ingredients. It's the kind of meal that leaves you feeling full but not heavy, you know? Honestly, Pho 919 Restaurant is a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a great meal. It’s got that friendly vibe, awesome service, and the food is just spot on. Definitely going back to try more of their menu.

This restaurant offers Thai and Vietnamese fusion cuisine, though the name suggests a more straightforward Vietnamese experience. I arrived in hopes of authentic Vietnamese fare but was instead greeted by a bowl of pho that had evidently wandered off course—its broth curiously sweet, as if channeling a Cambodian cousin who doesn’t get out much. The banh mi, not to be outdone, also veered toward the underwhelming side of the flavor spectrum. Still, I was hungry, and calories were consumed; in that sense, the food performed its basic contractual duty. The drinks, though, appeared to be priced for patrons who recently stumbled upon a winning lottery ticket, so I abstained. On the bright side, the owner was an absolute delight; affable, witty, and likely the highlight of the meal. I also enjoyed the utilization of modern technology, such as robotic trays bringing me my food.

I am having the hardest time figuring out how anyone could leave a positive review for this atrocity of an establishment. I ordered the $8 crispy spring rolls thinking they must be special at that price only to receive an abhorrent attempt at what is usually my favorite way to start the meal. They were filled with nothing more than unseasoned meat and large pieces of onion. No woodear mushrooms, bean thread noodles, carrots or FLAVOR whatsoever. The sorry excuse for garnishes added nothing to the dish. Next up: the world’s LEAST FRESH salad rolls. Dry pork, dry shrimp, ICEBERG lettuce, bean sprouts that were now grey and not an herb or scallion in sight. The kicker and true piĆØce de rĆ©sistance was the ā€œpeanut sauceā€ that tasted like some sort of fruit jelly. It was the sweetest, sorriest excuse for peanut sauce that I’ve ever tasted. And now, for the main event: the pho. The pho that everyone reviewing on here seems to be so terribly fond of. I knew there was a significant problem the moment it arrived. It was nearly clear, completely absent of any color whatsoever. You could immediately tell that it was lacking body, flavor and care. Sure enough, after tasting it, I was able to confirm my suspicions: TOTAL TRASH. No amount of herbs, hoisin or sriracha we’re going to bring this one back from the dumpster it crawled out of. I can’t believe that this place was full of people who actually thought it was quality Vietnamese food....

I wish I could give zero stars bc that’s how atrocious this place is. This was our first and last time here. Their credit card machine wasn’t working so the young female at the counter told us to order and pay online. I told her it didn’t work for me and to see if she could help. She was unprofessional and rolled her eyes at me and didn’t even answer. Strike 1. I managed to order on a different browser and after awhile asked the same rude young female the status of my order. She had the NASTIEST attitude and told me I could go to Walmart to get food if I was in rush! WHO SAYS THIS OR SPEAKS LIKE THIS TO CUSTOMERS?!? I learned this was the owner’s daughter! I was floored by the despicable behavior and if I hadn’t already paid online, we would’ve cancelled, said a few choice words and left. Strike 2 and 3. I was thinking this better be some damn good pho that my mother really wanted for me to put up with this gutter level ā€œserviceā€. IT WASN’T!! It was bland, unseasoned, didn’t taste fresh, and skimpy portions. Think dirty looking hot water with some sad looking meat and vegetables and noodles floating around in it. And for about $80 for 3 people!? Hell no. NEVER AGAIN. I don’t know how anyone could rate this place as having good food or service, and how they’re still in business. Like I’m honestly perplexed.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF OVERPRICED NO FLAVOR, NOT FRESH WORST PHO...

This is one of the few places you can get authentic Pho in North Carolina. It is a family run business. We always get disappointed when we venture to other places claiming to serve authentic Pho in the RTP area. I have lived down in New Orleans where there is a huge Vietnamese population where there is not a shortage of vietnamese restaurants and vietnames stores. After moving down to RTP I was always craving for authentic vietnamese cuisine and this place has filled the void and filling happy tummies. The menu is small but has the essentials of vietnamese cuisine. The Pho whether it is the spicy pho or Pho ga or veg versions you will always be smacked in your face with flavor and satisfied sweating out with smiles all over your face with slurps, mmmms, " it good, "its so good"s , all throught the meal. The fried spring rolls and the summer rolls are worth trying it as the fried rice and noodle verions as well. The owners do take a break in the afternoons and will close down few days a year for a vacation. So it is wise to call before you go to the restaurant. They do post about closings weeks ahead so if you had not frequented often you will be disappointed with a closed sign on the door :-) . But they work hard all year long so they do need the deserved break(s). Can't wait to go back again. The kids are asking to go back the...
