Bought a jumbo pack of raw peanuts with other grocery items which turned out to be bad once cooked.

Just shared my experience with the cashier when I visited again for groceries. She immediately refunded me $5 for $6 item which I never asked for, nor I bought the opened or cooked once package with me. That was a pleasant surprise for me. Honestly, I bet you won't experience this in any other Indian store. They may ask you dozens of questions, ask to show the receipt or the product. But here, the nice lady refunded my money without me asking for it.

And you know what, this store gives you cash back. They have a pretty good cash back system. During the same visit, I got $30 as cash back and paid only $1 for my grocery ( other than $5, unexpected refund)

Grand India store has the best customer service among all the Triangle Area Indian stores. As a Triangle area resident for over 27 years it is finally such a joy to go to an Indian store which is so clean and has amazing customer service. Ms Hiral at Grand India is absolutely amazing. She is always there to help and if they do not carry the product she will get it for you. The store is amazingly clean and very well organized. I have always got really good fresh vegetables.
