The staff at checkout needs to be trained well as my experience was a not a good one. While standing at the queue and waiting for my turn, I asked the young girl for some sweets from the fridge and pointed towards the ones that i wanted. Well she was loud and said why don't you name them. Okay so if you mark them with the name tag, I will be happy to do so as the Gulab Jamun had 2 different varieties and so did the Ladoos. My wife and I were taken aback with the way the young girl spoke to us, who i saw for the 1st time in this store so I am assuming that she was a new recruit. I used to shop at this location on a regular basis but I will not go there anymore as the cost of most of the items are over priced as I beginning to note when I have started to shop elsewhere so going again is a BIG BIG NO for me. But little pricey because of that neat conditions. Absolutely this store doing well. Especially management may be strictly organizing I guess so, but that much very strict doesn't work all the time. I noticed another area is Cash register and billing system, thats really worst point in this shop. This store is behind in scanning all the items and setting up billing, taking it from the basket and giving the cashier to bill even the heavy items in that small glass aisle, this is the hardest thing in this store and not all customers can do it. Even the cashier does not having a handy scanner. Must be improved.... (my old review before 28th June 2024)

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited Apna bazaar to buy groceries. I started with a small purchase under $5, and I was told that the store has minimum purchase policy to use card. I went back, added more items, and my total reached about $7, at which point I was informed that the minimum had changed to $10. But they are ok if it is like 1 or 2 dollars less to $10. This inconsistent rule left me frustrated, because I clearly remember paying with a card at around $5 or $6 on a previous visit.
When I asked for clarification, a staff member explained that āonce in a while, out of the blue, we might accept a lower amount, but usually itās $10.ā I requested that the rule be applied consistently, but I felt the staff memberās response was a bit rude.
Overall, the main issue is inconsistent policy and poor customer interaction. I hope the store takes steps to standardize the consistent credit card minimum and improve communication...
