Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Morrisville

I don't like leaving reviews for places unless I'm dazzled by what I've experienced. You can go through my previous reviews and see that I have only left (maybe) three reviews before.

Salsa Fresh had been recommended to me from a friend so I was excited but what a let down. I was underwhelmed by the food that I received from here. It looked like everything had been thrown together sloppily and without much thought.

We had an order of two nachos: one was a regular nacho order with spicy pork and the other was nachos without lettuce and sour cream with the salsa on the side. What was received was a could have easily been put together at home. Both orders had the beans on the bottom (why?) with the tortilla chips on top, with hard cheese, and slops of guac/sour creme/pico. The salsa was on neither order. My boyfriend found a long hair in his order and decided to not finish his food.

I was told when place the order that it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Showed up 20 minutes after the order was placed. The food was freezing cold even thought it had been placed in an aluminum to-go package.

I realized that things are tight with COVID going on right now but there was not anyone else in the restaurant when I arrived. There was one woman leaving and two girls on the patio. If it had been busy, I would have been gracious and understanding. I was really disappointed and can't say that...

Went there on a Saturday night, there was just two people sitting at a table eating, So the place was pretty empty, I came in and the woman at the counter was on the side of the counter doing something, she looked at me, and kept on doing whatever she was doing, after 5 minutes had passed, one of the other girls came out from the back and told the woman that was at the counter to please take care of the customer, she still didn't wait on me kept doing whatever she was doing, after a minute or so a younger gentleman came out and took my order, When I went to the fountain to get my drink, the countertop was sticky from soda syrup, and the counter didn't look like it was cleaned in a long time, So I threw the cup away and didn't even get my drink disgusting... I asked for hot and mild sauce with my taco order, and receive none, Believe me when I tell you this place was the worst, won't be going back there again, I gave the food about a one star, and I thought I was...

I've catered Salsa Fresh multiple times and they've always been amazing. We've always had a ton of leftovers (enough to cater the meeting, and the admin center after, plus some to bring home) and I love that they come to set it up themselves. If you return the wire baskets after, you get a store credit, which is awesome. I've used the taco/fajita bar and everything comes separate, which means the gluten-free people can choose to not use a tortilla (they provide a lot of lettuce as a topping which can easily be a salad) and also the vegetarians can choose not to use meat.
