This place is super cute, the atmosphere is great, unfortunately we were not able to get coffee because the wait would have been too long. After about 10 minutes of waiting in line to place my order I asked another guest how long they had been waiting for their drink and they said about 15 minutes (take that with a grain of salt as I know people’s perception of time can be a little skewed when waiting for things) but still, we were on a time crunch and there were 8 other people in front of us so we had to leave. The poor barista in the back looked like they were going to pull their hair out, I saw them physically bring their hands up to their head and take a deep breath before continuing their work, which, I’ve been there before, but for how busy this place is (on a Sunday at 10:30am) and how new the shop is they definitely should be staffing more people.
The guests that I spoke to who did have their coffee drinks said it was amazing and worth the wait, I just wish I wasn’t on a time crunch and had the ability to really feel out their service and products.
I’ll be back another day, excited to try it based on the feedback I was getting. Like I said, the place is SO cute, the staff is VERY friendly, but I feel management should house a little more staff so that the baristas aren’t so overwhelmed with the amount of people wanting to try out the new social...
Read moreEDIT: Downgrading from a 2 to 1 star. I'm not sure that telling the customer they should have done more to ensure better service since it couldn't be provided outright and then asking to have the review upgraded just because you're new to the business is the right way to go. I'm not inflating my review just because you want it to be higher.
It was a very.. okay experience. It was crowded, noisy, and the staff seemed burnt out on dealing with people. The snacks were lackluster and I didn't even finish my coffee cake thing - not sure entirely what it was because it wasn't labeled and the staff never actually let me know what it was. They just grabbed it out of the case and rang it up when I asked what it was. Drinks were definitely below par - the espresso was very watery and astringent while the syrup was terribly overbearing. My spouse and I both ended up throwing away the drinks after realizing just how painfully sweet they were.
After fighting the absolutely terrible parking experience for this place, which is a tiny lot shared with the apartment complex, I don't think I'd worry about ever coming back. There's plenty of coffee shops around here that have balanced drinks, good snacks,...
Read moreI give 4 stars because the place is so beautiful, new & modern. However, the bagel was a real disappointment. It was mealy & like something you'd buy off the shelf of a grocery store. It came with 2 plastic little tubs of Philadelphia cream cheese that I had to spread myself with a coffee stirrer. At least the bagel didn't come in a plastic container. The honey for tea cost an extra 75 cents- a rip off considering most places have honey for free. So the tea in a paper cup was almost $5! Obviously people are paying for ambience. It was really loud with a group meeting on the leasing office side, music, sounds of machines, other people talking in an open space, etc. It's nice if you want to have a meeting, but chaotic if you just want to relax or work in peace. The bathrooms are nice and fancy looking, so that was a plus. I don't know if I'll return due to the poor quality bagels-- please get a new supplier, such as Brueggers or Einsteins. Service was ok. Someone in another review mentioned dogs there-- please do not allow animals. That sounds completely unsanitary for a food place, & the beautiful furniture is one of the main...
