Sometimes the meats are tough to chew. Other times, the meats are tender. Be sure to taste test a sample from the middle of your chosen tray. I sampled what seemed to be soft pieces of chicken (sweet & sour and teriyaki ), so I purchased them. When I ate them, what a disappointment; both were dry. The vegetables and rice are good. Usually, I get my money's worth of meal here (two stuffed trays with 2 meats/2 sides for under $15). I prefer it to be always. TIP: be certain that the person handling money does not handle your food anywhere you dine. I had to bring it to J&J BBQ's attention while they were moving so fast. Read moreI ate at this place (Southlake Mall) Friday for lunch and was very dissatisfied. I asked the female about the fish and she said it was WHITING. I ask her is she sure and that it's not Swai, and she saud Yes, it's WHITING. I got the fish, broccoli and potatoes. I bit the fish and it was not WHITING, it was SWAI. I DO NOT LIKE SWAI. I went back to the lady and advised the fish is not WHITING. She looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. I was not offered anything else or my money back. I will spread the word about NOT TO EAT THE FISH and be very careful on the other foods. I don't eat Catfish and I don't eat Swai which BOTH are bottom eaters....
Read moreI've been here multiple times, and today as I paid with my card, there was a roach on the terminal. I told the cashier, and she said it wasn't a problem because it wasn't in the food. She proceeded to move the roach with her hand (with her glove on) and didn't immediately change it.
