Morrow Center — Attraction in Morrow

The venue is beautiful inside and very spacious. However, outside is not much of a view if you are looking for beautiful landscaping. It is located adjacent to Southlake Mall and not a stand alone building. However at night, it's beautifully lit, My wedding day turned out beautiful however there were a few faux pas issues that happened which could have been avoided by management. At the end it did not ruin my wedding day and Leslie (manager) did reimburse me on somethings. My cons about this venue are that you do not have a guaranteed rehearsal time slot on a Friday if your wedding is on Saturday. You are at the mercy of someone else booking the venue on your rehearsal day and you may have to move your rehearsal to the Thursday before your wedding. Also, rehearsal must be scheduled before 5pm. Another, con was that another person was assigned to my wedding day instead of the manager with whom I conducted business in planning my wedding. About two weeks before the wedding, I was informed that another person of whom I've never met, would oversee the venue on my day. I was not happy about this. The other assistant manager was nice but he did not know of the details that I wanted and so somethings did not go as planned during my reception. You only have one day for your wedding, so I can not go back redo anything which was a big disappointment. I also did not feel like my patronage was as appreciated as the others who have posted good reviews on other sites. Leslie was nice but it seems like she was overwhelmed with a lot of bookings that were going on at the venue at the time. However, the Grand Gourmet catering company was excellent and professional. While in the process of looking for a venue for my grand daughter sweet 16 birthday party I ran across the Morrow Center. I love what I seen on the internet. I went to the reviews to see how well things were with the center. After looking at the reviews I ran across some very disturbing reviews that made me think twice about trying to rent this venue. I went later on that day and read all of the reviews again before calling to talk to someone at that location. I went over to look at the venue anyways and set down with Mr. Robb Miltner and he was very polite and caring. He answered all of my questions and concerns about the rental. Once we was done talking all of my fears went away. He showed no signs of racism toward me. He showed great respect for the job that he does and very polite, and helpful. He spoke highly about the company and their goal on making sure every guest leave happy. I would tell anyone that looking for a nice venue call or go by the Morrow Center and sit down and talk with Mr. Robb Miltner before making a decision about the Morrow Center reviews or going off someone else word. Once you sit down and speak with him I'm sure that you will change your decision if you feel like I felt at the beginning. I'm looking forward to seeing him on the day of my grand daughter event. Exceptional Team Members at the Morrow Center Exhibition Hall!

We recently hosted the Head 2 Toe XPO at the Morrow Center, and I must take a moment to highlight two incredible individuals who made our experience truly exceptional — Alexus Simon and Ngoc.

From our very first meeting in May 2024 all the way through event day, Alexus was a dream to work with. She was professional, responsive, patient, and always accessible. Her positive attitude and attention to detail gave us complete peace of mind during the planning process. Honestly, if we choose to return to the Morrow Center in the future, it will be because of Alexus’ unwavering professionalism and genuine hospitality. We will continue to work with her!

On the day before and during the event, I had the pleasure of working with Ngoc for the first time — and wow, what a lifesaver! He was calm under pressure, incredibly knowledgeable about the venue’s AV systems, and flawlessly managed all the LED monitor displays. I simply provided the content and run-of-show, and he handled the rest with absolute precision. The visual experience was seamless and elevated the overall production. By the end of the day, I was calling him “my hero.”

If you’re considering this venue for a professional event, know that you’ll be in excellent hands with Alexus and Ngoc on your team. Highly recommend these two!
