The worse food experience I’ve ever had. I order my food online because that is the only way they allow you to do it if you want to place an order. When you call their number it does not work. Which prompt you to place your order online. I placed my order online. I received an email confirmation and a text confirmation. I actually received two email confirmations. Text tells me what time will be ready. I drive to the place to get my food and they refused to give me my food they say at first they don’t do DoorDash, even though there is a sign when you pull up that says that way for DoorDash. They then told me and switch the storyby saying they don’t have my receipt so they can’t give me my food because they don’t see the order. I am showing them my receipt that they text me and emailed me, but they still refused me. I had my kid with me in the car and that’s who I came to get food for. No matter how many times I show them my receipt that they emailed me. They refused to give me my food because they said they lost my receipt. About 30 minutes after leaving they didn’t text me and say oh we found your receipt, you can come get your food. I already drove an hour. Why would I come and drive back to get food that they refuse to give me after telling me I never ordered. It was a horrible experience. How do you refuse something someone paid for because they don’t have their stuff together with their busines. Look at the picture of the text telling me to come back for my food after refusing to give it to me with multiple proof that i ordered. Oh and get this at first they tried to act like they were making my food and then suddenly oh we can’t...
Read moreSadly many of the positive reviews have been posted in error for The $3 Cafe, which is a great eatery. THIS IS NOT!!! Eggrolls that taste like sauerkraut, rice with uncooked bits and dry as though it sat in a warmer for hours. Chicken and french fries fried in what could only be old oil, crab rangoons with souring cream cheese and iced tea and lemonade with enough sugar to guarantee a diabetic coma. This is what greets you should you decide to dine at the Dollar Cafe 3 also known as $3 Dollar Cafe. Located behind Southlake Mall at 1189 Southlake Cir Morrow, GA. Sadly when making the displeasure of our meal known to the stores manager we were met with nonchalance, disbelief at our inability to consume the meal and denial that anything was wrong with the food or its preparation. I was offered a refund equal to 15% of what I paid when not even 10% of the food was devoured. Myself, as well as others in my party, were talked down upon and dismissed as if we were nothing more than common imbeciles. I would love it if this review of Dollar Cafe 3 / $3 Dollar Cafe could reach as many eyes as possible to show the owner that we are not easily silenced. Photographs of the complete meals of our party left behind to show that we were not simply "trying to get our money back" as the rude store...
Read moreThey never, ever have the Eventide drafts so don’t even bother. The service is only ok. None of them will go above and beyond for your experience(wishing you a happy birthday when they notice your sash or showing you to the bathroom rather than pointing) but they will bring the food when it’s ready. Never have a manager table visit and I’ve been there more than 4 times. There’s a high school up the street so there are always young people milling about and eating and not tipping their servers a dime so just be ready for that crowd of visible underwear from baggy pants. Now I will say the shrimp n grits is a very nice portion serving and tasty as well. The wings are nicely sized and the beers are always cold. I would not suggest this place to anyone but instead I would tell them to bite the bullet and drive to the McDonough location a couple exits down. The service is better, the crowd is nicer, and... and I can get food through a window if I wanted...
