Read moreThe first thing that hit me in the face was the odor in the room. It smelled damp, molded, and like the previous guest were smoking in the room.
One of the light fixtures (desk lamp) did not work.
The USB ports didn’t work. Be sure to bring your wall adapter to charge your devices (the ports do not work without it).
The WiFi username and password didn’t work. The guy working at the front desk failed to label which digits were the username and which were the password! I tried to input the info he wrote down in multiple ways and still….nothing! So I decided to call the front desk (which brings me to my next complaint)….
The telephone!!! Straight out the 90’s! Just raggedy! This REALLY pissed me off! Only SOME of the numbers worked! The most important number didn’t (which was “0” for the front office) I had to walk all the way to the front office when i could’ve just called instead.
Please bring shower shoes! The bottom of the tub was still dirty! Thank God I bought disinfectant wipes.
The area was busy and there’s a lot of foot traffic. People are always watching you! So the smart thing would be to secure your valuables and lock your car doors AND ROOM DOOR! I can’t stress that enough. During my stay here, people were hanging out in the parking lot and some of them looked suspect…..I didn’t like that! They also left beer bottles and cigarette butts everywhere.
The elevator looked janky! I didn’t even bother seeing if they worked I settled for the stairs. Good luck with that one!
This hotel offers FREE breakfast in the morning. There’s also a store directly next door that has options if the hotel food do not meet your standards.
You get what you pay for! The room was a great deal for a 1 night stay…however, the room wasn’t as comfortable or clean. The area is not that secure either but do what you can afford. As for me and my house………..it served its purpose. It’s a basic room….no...
Read moreOur check in was quick with a polite front desk attendant. Our room was ready and clean on arrival. We were only staying one night for a competition and I chose the hotel based on it's price and location to our event. They told me free wifi and gave me a password. I got on immediately in our room and although my phone said I was on their wifi, I never one time was able to access the internet or check my email because it said the server was not working!!! The hotel is right off the Interstate exit but fortunately, our rooms were on the other side of this, or else it would've been very noisy at night. However, our rooms WERE on the side that was extremely close to the railroad tracks. At 3am, a train came through and it woke us all up and sounded as if it were going to come through our room! We were given a bottom floor room, which is great if you're unpacking a lot, but as other guests checked in at various times throughout the night, we heard every voice and every footstep above us! I slept very little there because of noise level alone. They had a small heated indoor pool that my children enjoyed. Everything seemed clean. There was a very, very small complimentary b'fast the next morning consisting of fake eggs, greasy sausage, dried instant pancakes that come rolling out of a machine, toast, muffins, dry cereals, and yogurt. Coffee and juices and milk were also available. Check out was pain free and employees were very friendly. I wouldn't stay again only from the noise standpoint & lack of internet services, but for one night and the price, if you can do without being well rested,...
